  1. Nice photo work with the mirror. Paint and stance look good.I also dig the weathering of the motor and license plate.Cool ride.
  2. Nothing wrong with another mustang, afterall they're the original pony car . Seriously this is looking super clean with perfect detail.Love the cobra seats.

  4. Thanks everyone,Sam I'm thinking the same.
  5. I think it helps that mustangs kept at it even when it wasn't popular. I always thought it was the only pony car(it has a pony on it) and the others were just similar.
  6. That's a nice red for that ford. I like the roof also. I would like to see a nice bright set of cragers under her.
  7. I've never came across one in 1/1 that has appealed to me but they sure look good as models. I've never done panel lines but think yours do the job. Man these look good. The hood on the z is mean and both paint and rims look great.
  8. Looks cool. Color looks like it would have come from the factory.
  9. Thats awesome.I tried looking at the pics earlier from my blackberry and I couldn't.So all day I was waiting to see this and it was worth the wait.Thats one bad rat!

  11. She's crisp baby.The motor looks excellent,not to mention the paint,color combo,stance and wheels.
  12. Started this tonite and am really happy with this kit.Lots of pieces and pretty clean.Doesn't hurt that its a beautiful car either.Last few kits I completed were Amt and I don't like the no exhaust setups.Had a diffuclt time choosing colors on this. Finally picked Tamiya Pearl Green and after getting a few coats on the body realized now I had a even tougher decision for the interior.I found not too many colors blend with pale green. So I am going to do the interior same as exterior with alot of white and chrome.Gonna go with Peguasus 1109s for the wheels and will put a wired distributor on the engine. Heres what I have so far...
  13. Sorry for the double post.
  14. I started working on the green Riv first, then got the idea to make it a pair. Made all the progress on the grey one and put the green one back in the box for now.All oob except for the wheels and bmf. Practice, practice, practice.
  15. Allen, they both look cool. If you would of said just completed I would of beleived it. I have a 60 hardtop on the workbench at this moment and hope to share it soon. Thanks
  16. That is a stunning build.I really like the gold accents.Little motor did a beautiful job on the chrome.Paintwork is extrodinary, thanks for sharing.
  17. Winnebago, boot hill express, extasy van and 1000s of caprice .You guys have some cool projects ahead of you.I've been busy buying kits and supplies with the thought that I can buid, build and build uninterrupted. But I'm sure it wont stop me from buying more. Here are some of the kits I've bought recently:

  19. Thanks Ken, the dust is a problem for me and am looking into buying a paintbooth. I just finished sanding 2 spots off a otherwise decent paint job. My spray cans feel pretty cold and was worried about freezing or becoming gummy.
  20. I saw this built as a model in a magazine. I woud like to do it myself.I'm unsure if it's a 48 ford vert but can find out from research.I would like to know if anyone has seen these decals(lightning bolts) available?
  21. I have my work area set up im my garage which is unheated. It is in the basement of my rowhome so it isnt a detached garage.I'm in Philadelphia so we have winter lows in the single digits.I would guess my garage though would be in the 40s at its coldest. Do I have to worry about spray cans in these temps? ** I bought a little heater which I am using to warm the garage before I start working,so when I do spray everything is warmed up.
  22. The paint is Tamiya's chrome yellow. The conti kit is included as is quite a few custom parts.
  23. Box stock except for the Pegasus rims.I'm just working on assembly and painting at this point. This is model #15 for me.Been busy and I've had this on the bench for a little while and am happy to have it completed.A really nice looking ride imo. Thanks

  25. This is outstanding. What a great feeling to finish a overdue build Looks like a collectors diecast. The paint looks dead on to me now. Thanks I needed to see this after browsing the general section. Let's all build and have fun.
