  1. Hi Lee,It's Tamiya TS-60 Pearl Green.
  2. Wow! That is sick how you took suck a monster and turned it into such a beauty.Gives me hope with some of my models I have completed that maybe one day I can redo them.
  3. Nice builds. The Marine pickem up is very easy on the eyes and the 49? Ford is a nice color combo. Theyre all nice and look forward to seeing more. The wagon looks like it was used as a meat wagon part of the time in St Louie
  4. My first brush with a duece and it was cool. I used Testors one-coat lacquer and its a pleasure to work with. Its a older kit and has a scratched windshield, besides that it went together easy and cleanly.I Painted the fenders with the intentions of using them,it was a fight though after I saw how cool it looks without them.So I have a AMT on the bench that I will do fenderless.I probably should have painted the frame caps black besides that I'm digging this car.Anyway just oob and thanks for looking.
  5. I hit enter before I went to photobucket Your quick though
  6. Finished this up ast week.I painted it FOURTIMES.I kept screwing up yhe paint trying to tape and paint the roof.So four swims in the purple pond and a trip to hobby shop to get more paint.Even the end result was a poor paint job due the tape pulling off paint and trying to touch up.Nice kit and a beautiful car so all in all it was a pleasure.
  7. I recently got this order from Jimnohio.com (only 6 bucks shipping) plus a nice assortment at good prices. And some flocking, wheels and one-coat lacquer Testors from scaledreams.com which is a great one-stop shop for accesories.
  8. Very nice duece.Great color scheme, very original looking.I'm finishing one up and needed to see how the plug wires can be run,Thanks .Condolences for your loss.
  9. Chris, this is sick. You took a extremely hard car to dupicate imo and made it look easy. Thanks
  10. Man the box model and yours are hard to differentiate. You may be getting a call from AMT Your black is smooth.Which paint method are you using?
  11. Yea welcome to 2009
  12. Hi Scott,The shiny seat reminds me of the vinyl japanese seats of the 80's.Chrome and paint look nice.Your friend should be pleased.
  13. I haven;t read this topic just looking at your last pic and glancing over the replies I can't tell which parts are from which car(and I own a mustang ) You did a fantastic job of blending this into one unique car.
  14. Just one supercharger? White with back wheels look great together.I like the rear glass on this vette it reminds me of the old vettes.spit window would've been cool too.Nice clean build. Thanks
  15. Hi Chuck, you build some cool models, thanks for showing them. The flat back is perfect for this truck imo.And a flathead is always a plus.
  16. Hello Vaughn, I've had my eye on this kit for awhile, now I have to have it. You've done her justice. The stance and color are cool. Is it curbside? .
  17. I'm digging it. I would donk it.
  18. Man,Terry that 77 is SAH-WEET! They both are cool and well done.
  19. From what I've seen resin wheels and aftermarket wheels sell for 10-50 dollars. If I could get a kit along with a set of wheels I wanted for 20$ that would definitely be the route I took.Good luck.
  20. Terry you must've read my mind .My next builds are the Revell special edition 32's(sedan and coupe)as twins though . Anyways yours look great.I really dig the ragtop. And the black looks very smooth.
  21. Charles,Good question.I also see those for sale everywhere and wondered if they were practical. I was wondering why the lack of a handle?
  22. Jameston,Thanks for helping make it official . Nice work stripping Jason Looks good now can't wait to see it in the future.
  23. Looks good Rudy.Any ideas on color? I like the steel wheels and the carbs.
  24. The avatar has to go! Kit looks great, left, right up and down. Thoose headlights are mean.
  25. It does look fast sitting there.I like the tires and stance.Looks like a 80's hot rod imo.I had a 70 esprit with a 400 and it flew.
