  1. Received in the mail today from TCP Global some House of Kolor paint,an airbrush cleaner and a parts holder for painting. It is very good timing for me cause before the holiday I had a lump on my foot and found it to be skin cancer(I'm 37) which I had removed today and will be home from work for a couple of days. Heres the paint..
  2. I really like how this is turning out.One of my favorite cars and I believe they don't need alot of flash, they have muscle to back it up.Thanks
  3. Very nice William,I am in awe at how clean you build. Thanks
  4. Basic out of box build with a wheel swap.Trying my luck with a two tone paint job.Dupli Color Sandable Primer, Dupli Color Gloss Black and Testor Gloss Bright Red.Paint is finished with three coats of Dupli Color Clear.I will work on polishing it up a little. It will be my first attempt at polishing.I have some Novus 1&2,the Treatment and some Macquiers wax so I will give it a try. Interior is Model Masters Gloss Black and Leather, still have some touching up to do on interior.I will use Kens Fuzzy Fur on the floors,I have a dark brown I will use. The undercarriage chrome, valve covers, air filter and other chrome parts are done with spray can gloss black, then clear and then spray can Alclad II. Bottom half taped off... Engine is basically completed..(sitting on my coat hanger engine stand) Hopefully I can clean up my paint job on the interior.. Thanks for looking.
  5. George if it isn't too much trouble could you post pictures of the 32 sedan? Thanks
  6. Very nice setup. I wish I had your problems
  7. Kevin I bumped it,its in the on the workbench section
  8. Arni, your right about the pillars. It wouldve be a lot easier if they lined up. I thought I had them at an even place in the middle but afterwards they were off. Hopefully I can hide mess ups with foil! My grandparents were from Cork. Thanks
  9. Hello Scott,I like all your builds but especially the worktruck(Ford p/u). The Camaro looks like a real screamer too. Thanks
  10. Chris,I like the color and like a 65 vert.So in my mind your doing everything right.Look forward to seeing this done. Thanks
  11. Hi Sam,No color scheme yet.I received an airbrush for the holiday,so I ordered paint from TCP Global and will use that when it arrives.Don't remember all the colors so I will have to look when its delivered. I do think I will use baby moons over steelies. Thanks
  12. Super cool build. What is the blower belt from? Not the safest looking dragster . Thanks
  13. Nice choice for a tow car.I like the color.Nice and clean build. Thanks
  14. Jody she's looking fantastic. Hard to believe this was your first attempt. The way you layed it out is very cool. And I know I appreciate the step by step layout. Also a very nice ride and I'm digging the hood. All that show your gonna need alot of GO;). Do you have a 454 laying around for her? Thanks
  15. Any pics.? Check to see if directions indicate attachment position.Sorry I couldn't be more help.I'm sure someone here has done this kit.Good luck.
  16. Nice Camaro Steve. You started the year off right, with muscle.I dig that Orange alot. Thanks
  17. Started this about a week ago. It is my first attempt at customizing a body. I was close to chalking it up as a learning experience and giving up on it.I kept having to reglue my seams that came apart in my hands while puttying and sanding.I used Ambroid and I am not sure if it was because of not enough glue, not the proper glue for this purpose or not giving it enough time time to cure. Also my cuts and seams have been difficult to hid. After ALOT of green putty and bondo they are starting to be not so noticeable.Regretfully so are the door mold lines.I guess I will live with that or maybe try and score them back. Mocking it up with 24' wheels but have a set of baby moons with small whitewalls that I am considering.Paint will be some shade of candy from House of Kolors from an airbrush. I was suprised when I set the body on the interior tub it fits quite well even though I cut almost a 1/4" off the body,I'm guessing I won't have the same surprise from the front seats and I will probably still have to adjust the tub to achieve the ride height I am looking for.Going to do a little more sanding then do another mock-up and get to work on picking a motor and installing the interior. Thanks
  18. Nice builds Billy,I hope next year is as good and better for you.The Impala is really nice,I like the silver. All your builds you did well with the color choices.
  19. I like the decals,the numbers over the stripes looks good.Nice model.Thanks
  20. I have switched from Testors to Tamiya. I like the Tamiya spray cans as well as their brush paint. The main reason I like their brush paints is the bottles.I have a hard time with Model Masters and Testors after I use them the lids always get stuck and the paper washer in the cap comes out.I am also a big fan of Testors and Model master spray cans.
  21. I'd like to wish everyone a healthy, happy and prosperous New Year
  22. I was looking at the Zona saws on Amazon. Boy am I glad I asked before I spent moneyB) Thanks
  23. Thanks.Good heads up on the Exacto. Do you know the brand you have? How about blades? I stopped in a arts and crafts store and saw them(Exacto) for $45,so I googled it on my Blackberry and found thenm for $30 and was considering ordering. I figure the best bet is to have it and not need it then to need it and not have it.I will have to start accumulating some tools of the trade.
  24. For cutting plastic bodies do you use a jewelers saw or hobby saw, etc.? I did my first sectioning job today on a 49 Ford and used a #11 blade and the result wasn't a very clean cut.I'm sure practise helps but an a big believer of the right tool for the right job. Thanks
