  1. Looks good Brian. Very clean, you must not have slept for a couple days with all this progress. Thanks
  2. Looking good. The interior is just as clean as your exterior. Thanks
  3. Online 95 percent of the time. The selection is 100 timesd better imo. Price isn't a factor even tho online is better probably. I like it cause in a half hour I can have my kits,paint,flocking,glue,photo-etch all coming from different places in half an hour. . Modelexpress, jimnohio, stradasports and scaledreams are at the top of my list. I do go to LHS but they don't carry any aftermarket items which I really like using.
  4. Best for me is my current 01 Ford Expedition,it has 4 wheel drive but I've never had the need for it. The most snow we've had lately is barely 6 inches. Worst for me is my current 08 Ford F150 and various other years F150's and Chevy 1500's. Also had a 93 Lincoln Mark VIII that I couldn't get out of a parking spot with 2 inches of snow. I have a 03 Mustang GT that I won't even consider to drive in rain or snow she barely wants to stay on dry pavement!
  5. Charlie it is,although I ordered it from AutoBarn online instead of driving from auto store to auto store.
  6. I am taking my time with this model.Trying to better my results.Did a little research since I don't think I've ever seen a 1/1 upclose before.Aiming for just a nice clean street rod. I spray canned two coats Duplicolor grey primer and two coats Duplicolor white primer.I had a purple Tamiya picked out for this and liked the white of the primer so much that I decided to go with white. So two more coats of spray can Duplicolor white gloss. I did the interior all black with a minimal amount of chrome trim(no pics yet). Using the kit wheels with the lettering done white with Hot Tires paint pen(a tip I picked up on MCM forums). Spray canned Alclad II over black gloss to some of the engine and undercarriage parts. This is what I have so far. Thanks
  7. Terry, they are all fantastic.the browm AMT and the pink AMT are my favorites

  10. Most models I own I have bought online. I have found the selection and prices are better. If you have the means to shop online I would reccomend it. If you need a list of online sites for kits, supplies or accesories let me know.

  15. This thread has me searching for a remark in regards to the models posted. WOW! is all I can come up with. I'm warming up to the new Revell kit. I've done the AMT 3 window and the AMT 5 window(vert)

  17. Looking good Mike. The undercarriage is clean, look forward to seeing this complete.Which kit is this exactly? Kind of looks like a 56 Chevy to me but I am unfamilar with any kit of them. Thanks

  21. May everyone have a heathy and happy holiday.
  22. My goals are to slow down a bit while I build so I can put more thoughts to good use and more effort into each part of the process.
  23. Thanks Randy. That is outstanding that you have your original from 39 years ago and it could pass for being completed today.I should really save my boxes from the models I build.I like this kits box art as much if not more then I like the model.
  24. What do people and christmas lights have in common? They hang together, half of them don't work and the other half aren't that bright.
  25. I've ordered the new release of the streetfighter kit,For some reason this kit seems very familiar to me and I have a strong desire to build it. Ofcourse I know it was around when I was a kid in the 70s but whether I previously built it or wanted it escapes me.Anyway I wanted to see if anyone has a completed version in their collection that would be willing to share? Thanks
