  1. Thats pretty sweet . We has snow a week ago and the media is calling it a white Christmas, but right now it's looking brownish from the salt and dirt.I would love to see another white Christmas around here.
  2. I've searched this forum high and low for the better part of today,so if this(as I know it is)is a repetitive question,I apologize.I did read quite a bit of useful information just not specifically what I am looking for. I will purchase a how-to dvd but assume it has more to do with technique. What paints are used in a airbrush? And how?(mixing, cleaning Can I use the small Testors enamels? How? For Xmas my wife bought me a Paasche double action airbrush and a Paasche 1/8 compressor, are these ideal or at least suitable? Where to purchase paints? ready to spray, and online a plus. Thanks very much in advance
  3. I was having a problem where I couldn't see the words I typed in my reply on Explorer but switched to Mozilla and now everything is fine.
  4. Nice hauls everyone.Jim any idea where to get the ready to shoot HOK paints? Thanks
  5. Now if we can get ten percent of the registered users to post we would be in good shape. Its disheartening to see a thousand views and three replies.
  6. Jody this is cool. Thanks for taking your time and putting this together.Merry Christmas to all and to all a Good Night! (always wanted to say that). Thanks
  7. if you told me you were painting a Camaro purple and red! But it looks excellent, great call on this.I really dig the stripe it looks fantastic, also nice stance, motor and wheels. Thanks Jim I would've told you that you were CRAZY
  8. George, this is one of the nicest late 50's Impala I've seen done in plastic.Great style with the paint, wheels and stance. Thanks
  9. The black trim looks good. First model I've seen with catalyic converters. Thanks
  10. I'm not a big fan of goats but I'm liking this one.The paint work is fascinating,I never seen paint like this around Philadelphia but from what I've seen on model forums it's huge on the west coast. The extra brown stripe on the wheels is slick and the interior really flows with the paint for me.And you can't beat gold D's with knockoffs. Thanks By the way, your a bad influence cause if I go and try a paint job like this I will surely put Purple Power on backorder!
  11. This is a sick Elky,you did a awesome job on it.Thanks
  12. Walt this is a nice build. The bigs and littles look right at home with the blower.Maybe a wheelie bar is needed!
  13. Thanks guys,Chuck you should do yourself a favor and do a COUPLE of your kits. They really go together nice, detailed undercarriage, nice interior and a big block. Can't ask for much more
  14. Now thats a cop car I wouldn't mind taking a ride in . Looks mean with the wheels and stance. Thanks

  19. The 63 is one of my favorite Impalas and with those wheels and stance this one is ideal.Paint is cool also. Thanks

  21. Chris your build looks great.I think the two tone paint is a nice look and the grill guard looks sharp. It's definitely good to see a 4x4,they seem to be few and far between. Thanks
  22. This is where I got the look from http://www.oldride.com/classic_cars/588730.html and http://www.hotrodgarage.net/67chev303c.html
  23. I dedicate this to the two feet of snow I had to deal with today I enjoyed this kit alot.I tried to improve on the details although I didn't go all out.I was going to use a photoetch kit I have but am debating on saving it for my next 67 I do. Straight out of the box and I think it was the best idea for this kit. Thanks
