  1. Here 'tis.....Polar Lights Ghost Charger.......with my first minor attempt at wiring/plumbing an engine. I used a pre-wired distributor and will most likely do it again if I can't find the correct wire for the distributor. The paint color is Candy Apple Red with a clear coat (just wanted to see if you were paying attention) really, just decals and Future on the body. The white stripe bit the dust, got crinkled, never liked it anyhow. Comments? or
  2. Q: What famous General comes to mind when you throw a hand grenade into your kitchen? A: linoleum blownapart
  3. Great builds, I love em all...they are all off the wall and make the show rod what it was back in the day.
  4. I am working on the polar lights Mr. Norms Ghost Charger. I have wired the engine with a pre-wired distributor, but can not find any reference photos on how to attach fuel lines etc. Anybody HELP??
  5. worst fitting?? STINGAREE and OLDS AEROTECH as far as ugly goes ...beauty is in the eye etc......

The concession truck from "Don't Tell Mom the Babysitter's Dead" The drop ship armored assault vehicle from "Aliens" Jo's Jeep pickup from "Twister" The corpse hauling truck and chevy impala from "Jeepers Creepers" Flying cop car from "Blade Runner" and finally...the amphicar from "Pontiac Moon"
  8. I built my "Studebaker stock and still have the clear hood (for the double blower engine) if ya want it
  9. Nice kit but $349.99 obo is kinda nuts considering that the clear plastic may have gotten yellowed or milky by now, ya never know. But then if you are never gonna build it, why worry much less why bother at all?
  10. They also had them tinted in Blue as well. Both were a very limited run and are pretty rare as you said. Also in 2008 iHobby Expo had an exclusive run of 500 AMT DIGGER CUDA's in "Ghost Blue" as well. There is one of these on the bay for $45.
  11. I am currently doing the Ghost Charger (have the Ghost Cuda too) and am building it as out of the box stock. The only thing that I MIGHT do is to give the body a Tri Tone Tint (more on that later). I have already dunked the body in a tank of Future to protect it and cover any minor scratches. As far as painting the body at all, it kinda negates the reason for a clear body, 'eh? But I can see the reason to making it partially painted, as in a cutaway diagram of the car would be on paper. Other than that..who knows??
  12. It is now called Pledge with Future Shine. Costs about $6 a bottle at Wallmart in the floor care aisle.
  13. Gerald....FYI.... the Silhouette kit comes with a cut down windscreen if you prefer not to use the bubble. Should your kit not have one, I have an extra if you need it.
  14. Nice Silhouette! (it will never fit in the trailer with the blower on the engine, I tried.) The '58 is AWESOME!!
  15. (in the voice of Ruby Rodd...) UnbeLeevable !!!!!
  16. The wheels look sweet and I am digging the redlines!
  17. That car is Super Green! Now all it needs is some decals advertising either "Gemeni Croquets" or "Phloston Paradise"!! (btw, is stud muffin really your middle name?)
  18. The Starship is another bubble top that I wish there was a kit for. I love that car!
  19. I hear ya Matt! I was swearing up a storm when just doing the decals for the Beatnik Bandit! Some day I would like to do the Lincoln Futura like yours as well. They ALL look sooooo cool!!
  20. Really nice job on them Roth kits! I am a big fan of his as well and have all the bubble tops and more! I loved doing the Predicta kit so much that I bought another kit for a rainy day! I applaud your effort on the Outlaw, I decided not to do it due to the amount of chrome involved......Ed Loved his chrome! Check out my fotki page for my bubble tops.....there may be a few that you need to get! Keep building them, you do Great work!
