  1. It must be my pc because i got one of the pics to fully load! That's what I get for running an antiquated os....... Great looking rails with excellent decal placement my friend! Keep up the good work,
  2. Hmmmmmm for some strange reason I can't view the entire photos, maybe its my pc but if I could see the pics I could make comments on them...?
  3. Maybe I am not the only one who can't see any of the entire photographs of your build?
  4. Cool build! All ya need now is an RC powerboat to pass the time while the glue is drying and you have the perfect workspace!
  5. Really great idea for a build! I like that you are taking inspiration from a Hot Wheels car. It looks fast as hell!!
  6. I am digging the Carmen Ghia myself...always wanted one of them there VolkswagenBeetleLooksSquished sporty cars! They are Cool!
  7. Ok, ok...stop knocking Paul Williams, he was a great songwriter! He Wrote "Old Fashioned Love Song" for 3 Dog Night (among others). Although I think Randy Newman wrote "Short People" with him in mind! Ok, ok, ...that was the last one...I will stop!
  8. Pardon my misinterpretation about the decals Brett!!
  9. Looks just over the top enough to race or cruise out in Vegas! again......incredible detail! Your eyes must hurt after putting all those tiny parts together!
  10. You have some Mad skills dude! Looks like you could gas it right up and go!
  11. Chill Mark.....I'm not an idiot and know what a "reissue" is. I have been building models since before you were born. I calls em as I sees em. I was just reiterating what Brett mentioned in his post and thought they could make a better kit for the price. All I see is a lot of Pictorial Collector Clutter and a tin that allows them to charge more, when they could have made minor improvements to the kit itself (per Brett). Brett also mentioned that the decals were low quality. They could have changed that with a minimum of effort and cost and left out the cardboard standups. In closing, lose the attitude and get on with it, the post was just my 2 cents, if it's not worth it to ya, don't buy it. Have a great weekend and keep building!!

  13. Sounds to me like Round 2 has taken it upon themselves to appeal to the kit collector rather than the kit builder. If it was the other way around, they would have paid more attention to the details like black vinyl tires, sprue numbering and a quality decal set. However, I do applaud them for bringing the kit back, albeit for the almighty dollar as opposed to keeping the kit builders happy. I am not that familiar with Round 2 but it seems from your description that they should have been knocked out in the first round!
  14. I'm digging the stance! Looks fast as hell!
  15. Nice build! I always liked the AMX!
  16. Thanks! Attached is a photo of the kit box which is dated 2002. The bubble is held on by a post and hinge system. Posts on the rear of the bubble go thru the body and are held in place by a cylindrical hinge. I wish I didn't have to prop it up though!
  17. Thanks Raul! I have now run out of bubble top kits , There are only 4 left, and they are rare ones: Cosma Ray corvette, Futurista 3 wheeler, Magnum GT II, and 1969 Chevy SS 427..........all are hard to get AND expensive!!
  18. I always dug how the VW Cabriolet's convertible boot looks like a huge spoiler! oh and btw.....VIRTUAL PUNCH!! he, he, he......punch buggy!!
  19. Until you paint it and detail it, the battery just looks like an old clock radio laying on it's side! LOL! Just kidding, it looks right on!
  20. I did the custom turn on this Monogram 2 in 1 kit. The kit is very loosley based on the Darryl Starbird Electra (b&w photos), and I believe he helped design this kit as well. It's basic box stock with Testors Metallic Purple Enamel. Comments Welcome! Enjoy!
