  1. Sooooo Pretty!!! Glossy as glossy can get!!
  2. Great Job!!
  3. Nice build! I always liked the Dino and you did it justice!
  4. Thanks guys! I decided on the color after seeing a pic of a Lamborghini in the same color. Next time the hinges will be made with a smaller diameter pin tubing (and I need to find "Bendable" pins!) There wasn't much room for the hinges, but I'm glad they worked! Thanks!
  5. First off, there were many fit issues with this kit and thus I ended up permanently attaching the back half of the car and just made the engine hatch hinged. I did manage to use my first hinges on the canopy and engine cover. In hindsight I wish I'd made the hinges smaller and less conspicuous. Well Next time! The finish is Testors Grabber Orange Laquer covered with Future. Thanks for looking!
  6. Looks cool! Digging the Slicks! But that is a good question about the wheelie bars!
  7. I hate to mask anything as I always loose some paint somewhere!
  8. Not my cup of tea but it's very Unique and the paint job looks flawless! Excellent art!
  9. Today I picked up an AMT Stingaree rail kit for $6.11 as well as some paint, aluminum tubing and a display case (40% off coupon used on the display case) I'll use the stingaree as some sort of kitbash in the future I am sure. They had 3 of the Stingaree, 3 Revell Cobra roadsters, 2 newer Revell Mustangs and a few opened box kits that I wouldn't have touched. They were resetting the whole "Modes" isle and still had a great selection of kits. Too bad they are all wayyy overpriced!
  10. I got my 40% off coupon in my wallet and may go tomorrow. Gotta get some supplies and paint for 2 nearly complete kits. Will the good Lord bless me with an awwesome kit on clearance? Stay tuned!
  11. Beautiful Build! I really like the color and wood effects!
  12. Yep, mine were butting up against the radiator assembly pushing the whole rear body portion away from the front portion till I trimmed 'em. You did a great job, it looks very cool!! B)Thanks for the pics!!
  13. Wow! Looks really good! I am building mine right now and I have fit issues as well! I'm gonna glue the back half on permanently and hinge the engine hatch and canopy. The air scoops were interfering with the back half of the body going on, so I had to trim them. You have the same trouble?
  14. My nearest HL is an hour away (and the ONLY hobby shop for 100+ miles) but they do have some good closeout kits here and there. Harry is right on the money when it comes to all the cool stuff in the other isles that can be used for modeling. Beads and baubles aside, they have a limited stock of kits but by no means a bad selection. I wait for the 40% off coupon and go up to by the big display cases, it's a deal!
  15. Hey Gregg, how do you say Grilled chicken sandwich with pineapple and fries in hawaiian? I heard it once and it just sounded sooo cool!
  16. Cool Tute! I'm gonna use it to hinge the engine hatch on my Olds Aerotech.
  17. Altered's Forever! Great Job!
  18. I never cared for white cars but this one looks pretty good!
  19. The first one looks a bit like the Frank and Peters "Freight Train" rail, the second one looks like a dream come true!!
  20. I love everything about this build! Not too complicated, great stance (looks mean as hell!) Beautiful color and the tire lettering is a great touch!
  21. Awesome work! The bench looks like it could have been sitting on my front porch for a few years!
  22. Very Nice build!
  23. WOW!!!
  24. Sweeet!!
  25. Nice eye candy on this build! I'm digging the ride!
