The LA Roadster Show is less than two weeks away! If you plan to come on Sunday, come early, as the event opens at 7:00 and registration will close at 12:00. Awards will be presented at 2:00 PM, leaving plenty of time to attend those Father's Day barbecues! *** If you have a roadster build, please bring it! ***

Tim, I am so appreciative of this thread. It definitely motivates me to try harder and be a little more meticulous. You're doing just amazing work, to a level, that, frankly, I'm not willing to go to yet, but it is still incredibly inspiring. Now that the GSL is over, I'm getting the midget back out and already see some ideas from your thread I want to apply! Sure hope to see you in SLC in 2019! -Art

NNL West Canceled ?

It was the So Cal NNL in Chatsworth that was cancelled, scheduled to be this weekend. -
Added a rear pan made from aluminum printing plate and styrene strip. I found that Testors Ford Engine Light Blue is an almost exact match for the decal blue. Of course I have Pro Tech braided line throughout, but I added some to the interior per the reference pictures. Here are some "finished" shots I took in a booth called a Shotbox that were available for use at the GSL. I didn't get the lighting right, so I messed with the pics a little. Still not great. A couple of notes I didn't show. The tires were replaced with Indycals tires for accuracy. I also used aluminum rod instead of the white metal roll bar so I could polish it up. I used Pro Tech nut and bolt heads for the windshield. I also added what I think is a trans cooler and a tank on the right side, and the turbo inlet. Thanks for looking!

I reconfigured the rear trans cover and machined a starter coupler. I made a rear bumper from brass. This was before I added the bottom hoop. I painted it with Alclad chrome.
