  1. Thanks, Joe! Kevin, thanks. It is finished. The "Under Glass" link is here: http://www.modelcarsmag.com/forums/topic/151889-lola-t89-f3000-car/
  2. It's cool! Love the presentation, too. I just had a sprint car model out tonight, thinking about a future build...
  3. Congratulations, Tim! It could be no other way, this build is just too astounding. This is the first of however many you choose to enter, in my mind. Hope I can see it for myself someday. -Art
  4. Thanks, Phil! Appreciate the comment! Thanks, Chris! Tim, much appreciated. Thanks for dropping in!
  5. Fantastic, Tim! Amazing detail that we've come to expect from you...
  6. Looks great, Curt!
  7. Hey Curt, for some reason I've been missing all your builds. This one looks awesome!
  8. Very cool that you dropped in, Paul! If you've seen any of his other projects, you know this one will end up very nice. Wish you weren't so far away, as this would be a cool one to see go in person!
  9. It's looking good, Charlie!
  10. Rich, Thank you for following the ride and your encouraging words along the way. It’s very much appreciated!
  11. Douglas, that would be a great livery. I have one more kit and wasn’t too excited about the kit livery. I might have to consider thatone myself one day. It will be a while... Have you looked at Indycals? They have some CART decals that could possibly be adapted, or at least be a head start.
  12. It's starting to get crazy up in here! Nice work, Johnny!
  13. This is my first completion in a while. It's a rare kit from a Japanese manufacturer called Modeler's that is no longer in business, of a Lola T89 Formula 3000 car campaigned in the All-Japan F3000 series in, well, Japan, in 1989. It's as true as I could get gleaning from several sources, as specific references of this car are few. The car is powered by a normally aspirated 8-cylinder, 16-valve, overhead cam Mugen engine.
  14. Dave, thank you. I painted the grills, and hit them with Tamiya Panel Line wash. I also added BMF around the edges.
  15. Chris, Larry and Bruce- Thank you for looking and commenting. It is much appreciated!
  16. Thanks, my friend. Thank you, Bruce! In appreciate the comment, Stephen!
  17. Well, I didn't get done until 3:00 AM the morning of the due date... but I made it! See it Under Glass here:
  18. Salvino's JR Models had a Box Stock Build off going on FaceBook on their page, where you have to build one of their models out of the box using their decals also. Since, I have been a dealer for Salvino's since they launched, carrying their products at ScaleProShop.com, I thought I would jump in with their latest release. This is the "Bobby Allison Chevrolet Monte Carlo 1982 Race Winner", which is a Digard Gatorade car, similar to the Buick Regal they also campaigned. It's the "flat nose" car, which has not been previously released. This is a Monogram 1/24 kit that was reworked by Salvino's, that was previouly issued with the SS nose, which is also included in the kit. Kit available at ScaleProShop.com!
