  1. Nice change of pace, Mark! Looks good.
  2. Wow, that's cool. I just met Joe Scalzo at the Riverside International Automotive Museum at an event a couple of months ago. He wrote a sprint car book in the seventies called "Stand on the Gas" that my dad had, so I chatted with him about that. I had no idea he had this book out. Thanks for sharing. -Art
  3. Thanks for the comments, guys. I finally had a little time to spend on this one again. I was able to get the first color on today. I also got the chassis painted. And the cockpit completed. And made a bracket to hold the wing for painting and got some primer on it and the wing support. Thanks for looking! -Art
  4. It's not the same, because everything changes, but it's there's definitely magic there still. I'd be there if I could.

  7. Brett, the blower is from the Revell '70 Chevelle 3 'n 1. ...and John, you made it look AWESOME!
  8. This is a cool project. I'm curious, though, what was wrong with the Strada sports wheels that you couldn't use them?
  9. Just in time for Indy! Nice job, Mark.
  10. Love the creativity and execution!
  11. Nice work, Jonathan! -Art
  12. Very excellent!
  13. In Torrance, they actually rented their building from my grandfather in the Halibrand Engineering campus of buildings. I still have a few planes we got from them one time.
  14. Mark gave me the same tip, and I swear by the stuff now.
  15. Looks great, Curt! I'm loving the run of F1 builds.
  16. Love the tires, Mark!
  17. I like it, Curt! The 70's - 80's F1 cars are some of my favorite vehicles. -Art
  18. Very nicely done!
  19. Had a great time last year and am really hoping to get back there again next year. My experience was definitely different than Ken K's. Mark was very gracious to us and we met a lot of really nice folks (many who happen to be some of the best modelers in the country!) The camaraderie among the participants was really great. -Art
  20. Nice hot rod!
  21. Bill, Nice job! Was this a resin conversion? I've been looking to build a 37 humpback for my father-in-law since he owns one, but the only resin body I located was a bit pricey for me. I have a die cast I may modify, but was curious what you used. thanks, Art
  22. Got the tires done. I also got the roll bar and intake scoop installed. I used super glue to fill the seams
