  1. Happy Birthday, Doc! Thanks for not letting your old age get in the way of sharing your passion for the hobby! :D -Art
  2. I definitely do, but it depends what I'm working on. I think no matter the kit, it's best to read them and analyze them as part of your build strategy.Sometimes you can follow them step-by-step and sometimes you can't. For instance, on a recent simple build, I wanted to remove a seam before painting, whereas the instructions would have had me leave the seam. So I had to deviate from the instructions in order to do that. It took some creative planning to make it happen, though!
  3. Happy Birthday, Doc! You know you're getting old when you're willing to put that on. :D

  7. Nice job, Ross!
  8. Neat project. Some Cobra-style roll bars would look pretty cool on that too.

  17. One day after had to dropping off one of my kids somewhere one Saturday morning I was returning home and noticed a cool looking truck facing me parked on the narrow road I was traveling slowly on. At first I thought it was a an old ice cream truck or something that someone had restored, but as I got closer I could see the word Dodge across the top of the cab, then as I got even closer I saw that it was actually a racecar transporter, then noticed the awesome funny car on the back and recognized it as Snake’s old car. And as I approached and slowed to a crawl as I passed, Snake got out of the cab on his cell phone like he was looking for something. Both Dale Armstrong and Jerry Tolliver both live on that street, so I’m pretty sure he came up from San Diego to show it to one of those guys. A few months later, he had it Pomona at the Winternationals for the 50th anniversary of the race. It’s an awesome subject for a model, and I would also love to see both in 1/24 or 25th.
  18. Wow, that's nice, Mark!
