  1. Looks good, Buddy!
  2. Nice job!
  3. Dr. Cranky, what a cool model! Perfectly executed as well. Great work...
  4. I just started using Inkscape. It's open-source (free!) and so far I am pleased with what it can do. It's a vector-based program, so scaling the images doesn't affect the resolution. -Art
  5. Alyn, that's really cool! I can really appreciate all the work that went into it, with things like the door frames, etc. Great job. -Art
  6. The longer I am in this hobby, the more my strategy resembles Danno's...
  7. Walt, I very, very carefully drilled out the hole deeper. It worked great. Pics are at my fotki link below. BTW, the pics were taken prior to doing this, so you can tell in some of the pics that the wheels are askew. I didn't like that much, so I risked damaging it to get them fixed. It worked out much better... -Art
  8. John Teresi used a train steam unit to simulate smoke in the Garlits diorama. It works great.
  9. Whatever your number is, divide that by the number of hours you spent doing and enjoying it. I bet it's lot cheaper per hour than a round of golf!
  10. Looks great, Brother! Your creativity always amazes me. -Art
  11. Mark, This looks great, as usual. So, now we know how you baked it, but why did you bake it? Is it just to dry faster? Whatever the reason, it sure worked! -Art
  12. Very, very cool! Nicely done too. -Art
  13. Thanks John! Same could be said for you, my friend.
  14. Looks cool, John! Now I see what you were going for. Great job. -Art
  15. Nice pics, Rom. I'm partial to number 100.
  16. What he said!
  17. Romell, Thanks for showing me your Pro Mod today. It really is a great display of craftsmanship. Looking forward to seeing it done! -Art
  18. That's looking real nice, Curt! -Art
  19. Nice job, Mitch! That's my kind of subject matter and yours looks great. -Art
  20. John, I use MS Word all the time for decals and it works great for me in most instances. When you insert the image into the page, the image is "in line with text". You need to change that to "in front of text", then you can move them and resize them any where you want on the page. Without knowing what version of Word you're using I can't tell you specifically how to do that, but if you use the Help feature with those key words (or Google), you'll likely figure it out. -Art
  21. Thanks, Danny, for the references. What I was referring to, though, was the model itself. I was wondering if the pulleys from that kit might work on my build. Do you have any close-ups of the motor in your car?
  22. That's a great looking bike. Cool subject and nice job on it as well!
