Wow! Great build and great backdrop. How and with what did you make that pavement / backdrop scenery? Awesome paint job. One of my favorite subjects . . . I had a buddy that had a 70 1/2 Baldwin Motion. My goodness that thing was strong!!!

Well done Brandon! Very nice. Do you give lessons in model construction? I could ride my motorcycle down to your place for lessons . . . .

Looking real good buddy. We're all watching

That's cool Jody. Thanks for sharing.

Today my mail carrier dropped at my carport door one of my last two "holy grails" This one is a curbside, but highly detailed Porsche 917-30 !!!!!!!!! I'm going to admire it for a year or two before I start to build. Anticipation . . . anticipayation iiiissss making me wait. Now, the Cobra Daytona Coupe remains my final quest. Well, maybe for this year.

Javelin Trans Am Hood
Bridgebuster replied to Bridgebuster's topic in Car Aftermarket / Resin / 3D Printed
Yessir, sho do. Thanks so much for the reference photos. So, I now have 3 choices; build a 70 Javelin and make sure it's as correct as possible, build a "phantom 69" with the '70 hood, or find a 69 hood. Decisions, decisions. Amazing how much a grumpy goofy ole fart like me can learn in getting ready for a build! -

I believe it was the one in that link that Dave Collins sent me. Looks just like the one in the Flintstone transkit. However, Crazy Ed is a wealth of knowledge on such . . . let me ask him. -
Found it. Thanks Dave. http://my.inbox.com/photos/escort500xl/index.aspx In the Parts Box tab.

Hey Walt. Sorry for your trials brother. These things, too, shall pass. Yea, God listens and He never puts us in trials that He doesn't provide strength for. You just wouldn't believe all that has come against me in the last 2 years, including my dad passing. Not whining, because I know exactly where he is through his faith. Please convey to your bride my sincerest condolences. Terrible time to have the fish tank let go, but it will also quickly become a memory. Your family will be in my prayers. Despite it all, I wish you and yours a blessed Christmas. You can choose to have a great Christmas; up to you, bear up brother. -
Nice site bro. Just need to add all the new products.

I LOVE IT!!!! Looks like I'll be spending some quality time with the Dremel.

Wow David. That's spectacular! I guess we're never too old to learn something useful. Thanks for sharing that.

Amen, Charlie. Young folks, NEVER be ashamed to ask someone driving stupidly to pull over and let you out. If they call you "chicken" or "wuss" or whatever, just say "I guess so". Don't argue, just make them stop to let you out. I grew up in Atlanta and have lost a bunch of friends in High School in just plain stupid car wrecks. About a year ago, 2 kids from the HS where my kids went died in a crash about a mile from my house. They were late for school and driving entirely too fast. Really sad is that they were brother and sister.

Sweet! Nice work. What transaxle are you using? And where did you get the engine? Keep the pics coming!!

Thanks Marc. I've got one on order. Phil

Thanks Mark. You're right, the price is right. I have a bigger compressor, but it's for power tools and is pretty loud. I'll order one of the ones you have. Thanks for the link. Phil

Thanks Ryan, that's good info to have. My building area is in the house, like some of the other guys. I'll have to find something a little quieter.

Man, I'm glad this didn't slip my attention. Have a wonderful B'day Big Ed. -
Gwyn, is this one very quiet or a bit noisy. Where did you pick it up and, if you don't mind, what did it set you back. Thanks

I need the help of 6 individuals
Bridgebuster replied to Peter Lombardo's topic in General Automotive Talk (Trucks and Cars)
Hey Ian. Sorry you got burned. Seems like those of us who are trusting sometimes do get chumped. I really wonder how folks live with being dishonest, either by design or neglect. -
To all my brothers and sisters on the forums here, to all my friends who mean so much to me, as well as all the friends I have yet to "meet", my hope for you is that you have a blessed Thanksgiving. For those traveling, a safe trip with God's traveling mercies, and for all . . . a little time to spend modeling over the long weekend. Family and TRUE friends are, I think, one of our biggest blessings that we should be thankful for. Have a wonderful weekend!
