  1. I used some .40 sheet styren to build the area up around the inner door jam
  2. The ride maker stuff is on the left and kit parts on the right. The ridemaker wheel fits right into the kit wheel. Thanks Kaleb
  3. Awesome idea. My son has a few ridemakers and we are going to the beach this weeked. They have a ridemakers store in myrtle beach sc. Im gone have to pop in.

  5. Like martinfan said. Im holding off on both of my miku kits. I have this one and the gt3 Porsche So far it looks great. I am put off building mine because of the Japanese only decal instructions. I even contacted fujimi and they never replied.
  6. I got mine from Napa in rockingham nc. They had a whole bunch of it. I have a respirator. I just hate to use it.
  7. Of, course, you realise that you'll have to do a 288GTO after this to complete the set...? ;-P Hey Mr bacon, Ohh yes. It is in the works. Just have to research who makes the best kit
  8. Well the kit velocity stacks are horrible. They looked hacked all up. Well they are tiny and hard to remove from the tree. This was post a be a OOB build but........,. I could not stand the look of the stacks. So i ordered this. Some other work. Various sink marks/ejector pins ans so forth needed removal. Now that i spent more than i should have on the PE set, i have to go back and fix a few minor issues i was gone let slide. Im ready for a coat of white dupacolor primer
  9. Following the good doctors advice (on his youtube channel) i bought this Have not tried it but you cant argue with Cranky's results
  10. The doors will be mounted open. It is way to work much to make them operate. When i saw this i knew it was the way to go. This way the model wont hang off the shelf with the doors open I also change my mind on opening the trunk for speakers. I think a couple of NOS bottles back their would be more better
  11. Dude. That is a q-tip. I had nothing to prop it so whoop there it is.
  12. I know there are a few of these on the forum but what the heck. Here is mine. This is my first large scale model. My plans are to open the doors and try to wire/plumb the engine. Maybe even open the trunk with some booming system. Going to paint it metalic black. May or may not do the stripes. Wish i could find some other wheels. These look to factory for a sports car. Doors and inner pannels busted open Got to cut the inner tub to see the dash the way a 1:1 would look Head scratchen will be needed to make this look real
  13. Here she goes. Painted with testors Sublime Green. This is a great kit. Put one together if you get a chance
  14. Well hello wolfman. I cant wait to see that ferrari come together. My wife gets mad every time i lust over one of them.

  22. Are you guys really fussing about weather a model car part would work
  23. Yes it is a mopar color form the 70's. i painted one of my 1:1 cars this color because i could get the paint from napa way cheaper than house of kolor. It was like 200 a gallon vs 600. That was 6 years ago. Hate to see what they are now
