  1. Ok. After a long break this is back on the table. This is where she stands. I found these at "walmarks" They are called sew on snaps They were a buck or two and look like the tops of coil overs. They wont be seen much on this model but look as if they would go great on any car that they are visable. I was also given a old pontiac firebird that has an ls1 in it. The 1/25 engine drops in the 1/24 engine bay well. I just have to decide if i want to go that way or keep the rb26. The ls1 will be much easier. I have also decided to go with the ts44 brilliant blue. I still may do the Calsonic decals. The kit ones are just to much.

  13. Hey john. Im working on my 599 now. How much do you think the car needs to be lowered The paint came out great
  14. Yes. This kit would have went from a 8.5 to a solid 10.0 if they would have just popped open the hood and dropped in a engine I would have paid an extra 10 bucks for that and most others would have also. Your progress is great and the quality is on par with the rest of your awesome builds.

  21. Well I wont have the first Ferrari 599 GTO built here but it will be the first green one. I love this car and I love this color all i have now is the first primer coat and some issues to point out. the kit looks great. it has almost 100 peices and is well designed. first there was some long mold lines that ran down the fenders all the way back to the rear 1/4's and down to the bumpers. second the kit has some serious sink marks here and on both sides here i will putty them after i sleep and get back withthe pre pAint pics
  22. i made mine and i am glad I did. i used a 6x10 air conditioning duct part and hot glued the fans in. yes, the fans are intrinsically safe. the bottom of the booth is slanted to the fans. i used duct sheet metal for that. some green cut to size filter catches all the overspray and i use the grate off a screen door as a floor. as seen in this pic the duct was less than 30 bucks. the light and grate was like 40 and the fans were free the out side can be made with painted plywood or what ever. if you cant find or just dont trust brushless fans then ebay jenn-air fan. these suck in a good way. for around 50-75 bucks you cant lose. for 120-150 bucks, you can build a way better booth than can be bought.
