one thing is, fujimi did not include the ferrari decals for the engine and car. so now i dont have any detail for the engine.

well she got kicked to the side for a few months but i am going to pound it out now. i am just going sick the parts together and it will end up what it is.

this was a quick build. 4-5 days at most. it was a build and take what happens. i added the side winder missiles. cut and flipped his right hand to hold his "bazooka". the winking eye is supposed to be him aiming. the decals were kitbashed.

there was a computer mouse in thetrash At work. i cut the wire off skinned back the outter sleeve and wow. i also use the charging cable for my iphone after it went bad. worked just the same.

they do make diffrent size excavators. u could just size it according to what size a real one is next to a pick up.

I made this truck for my father in law. Even though we disagree politicaly, his is kinda a good guy. so i poured a little of my time into this kit. i hope he likes it more than the gift cards his children will give him.

i cant wait. im getting one for christmas.

mike. here is the two colors i used. i laid down a base of some testors copper color. i got it cheap from hobby lobby because it had no label the top paint is this i then gloss coated it with wet look clear

i went one step further. i put every model i could want on my wish list on ebay. since my wife and i share the account i figured she may get the drift. i got the whole i cant find anything for you. ermmmm. i then dropped the whish list hint. so far no boxes shaped like models. out side of models i have 4 teams i pull for, i collect ho trains and anything to do with datsuns. she cant figure out what to get. really.

i got me one of those Talon air brushes because my Iwata eclipse is spitting and spatting. i think there is something wrong with the air valve. i used to mix/thin paint by putting my finger over the end of the needle and the back pressure would send the air back through the cup thus mixing the thinner and paint. the new talon has a tip that has notches on the tip that wont allow this technique. so i came up with sticking one of those paint transfer bobber things from testors over the needle and i get the same effect i just hope santa gets me another eclipse airbrush for christmas i am dissapointed in the talon. but hey you might like it

wellCobraman, i dont see any reason why i wont be able to put some of the extra chia pet seeds that i am sure to get on christmas day on the side of the organizer. i can add some decore ot my model room. and help the planet.
