A++++ for helping out on the very hard art of rusting a model. that is about as hard of a trick there is. it is easy to make it shine. but rust takes time. -

i added some strip evergreen to the sides of the hood to close the gap from where i gouged out the hood. a little more work is needed on the bottom of the hood. my first attempt at adding hood hinges. way harder than expected. because of the way the hood opens i had to use tube so it could slide up to make the clearance needed to open. this is about as far as it will open on display. i will clean up the messy area as soon as the glue sets up. -
congradulations niteowl. i hope he grows up to be a male modler. martinfan. i want to add an engine to that baby and Pe part set. may even scratch a paddock area display. lets just say that all my kits just got queued down a notch.

jb. i use the styrene rod because i HATE ca glue. i cant get metal or pe parts to work. i never get good results but always glue my fingers to something and make a huge mess that is hard to clean up. i am howevere good at cleaning up tamiya extra thin glue. a hair dryer works well to warm the rod so it wont break. open flame is bad becaue the glue would be a bomb -

i spent about an hour making this interior cover to go in the hatch area. i did not notice a tub goes over that area. duhhhhhhhhhhhhh. so i made another one for the right area. the first one was just for practice got the hood thing scratched out and installed -
