sorry. the one i was talking about had a tag on it that said opened, all parts included. it sounded like every part had been cut off the trees so i passes. the tag looked just like the one on your box. any way, good luck on this build.

Keep that thing near a fire extinguisher. The fuel tank may blow at any second. That is one ugly car. But that is an awesome build. We had one when i was a kid. It was doodoo green. I see a lot of anti Ebay sentiment on this fourm. Why? I use Ebay to buy old kits that are oop, new kits my LHS cant get (japanese kits mostly) and sometimes decals that are oop also. I also use it to sell junk to buy more hobby stuff. I always spend 60 bucks or so in my LHS ever month on supplies and media materials. So i am keeping them in buisness. I would never buy a kit that sells for 20 plus 10 shipping on ebay and pass on the LHS price of 25. Also it hurts the LSH just as much as using a 40% coupon to get that kit from the big hobby box store. I dont hear anybody complainig about that one.

No dude, i paint the part with metalizers and wash with very thin tamiya black. I have never stuck a brush in a jar of metalizer. I will try the mig washes though they give way better results than my home brew.

Yes i know. Did not find out this was one of those fake 1/2 engins till i opened it. I have a plan though. The valve cover from the Rb will fit on the kit engine and all the other stuff will fit too. So it is just gonna look like a RB. I also have some resin turbos and intercooler on the way.
