Been a while. But here is a littke work on a very challanging build. Here is the rear end And the body with trim and chrome.

Body plus glass and window trim. Carbon fiber front skid plate Rear under skirt in carbon. Got to touch up one or two areas.

Looking nice but, i tried the peg board as my " floor"and it plugged in a month. I bought this item from lowes. It came from the screen door section

Im glad you guys answered before my post got move to the land of misfit toys. I do hate that good modeling questions that help a builder gets moved to a part that never gets looked at. A dumb post about an oil leak on a magazne cover or what you got today stays up for weeks. They dont help anybody learn anything most of the good builders never look on the how to Because the already know.

I am looking to plop a LS-1 into this baby I just need to know if anbody has an idea of what kit has a detailed late model LS-1 engine. I know they came in corvettes and camaros. The kit i have is 1:24 but a 1:25 may fit better. They stuff these big boys in 1:1 240z's all the time. This will be the first time i have ever bought a kit just for a part. Dont want to get it wrong

Thanks GT. But every thing is painted now. I figured it would be gray or flat white. I had to go with what i had at the time. I hope your post helps the next guy though.

I was very close to owning my own. The guy was shaddy about the title so i bailed. These boogers in good shape on the east coast bring big money. That is if you can find them.

I had to paint the white square on the top of the roof. I bet i taped that stupid square 15 times. I mesured it 27. It turned out good for my work. Im ready for some clear and some BMF. The decals are old and i am not going to risk clearing over them. They will go on very last and then under glass

Where are you gonna get the half drunk chicks in 1/24 scale from to go in the tub. You should name this project "Party like a rock star".

I have an tamiya gt3r that looks like it was smashed by a monster truck. It came in with both A pillars jacked up. Would yo mind telling us how you repaired yours.

I started this a long time ago and it begged me to restart. So i dug the parts out and had to hunt the hood and engine. The body was painted in testors racing white and itialian red. The inside was painted as best i could tell from some photos and the intructions. The red white and black just do not look good together.

A hard day of modeling produced this. I wasted some carbon decal on the inside because you cant even see it. Here i applied some kevlar to the wheel well. It has 900 angles. Worse thing is is, i dont even know if this car has kevlar but some japanese sports cars do and i just had to do it.

They hobby will go on. Kids in asia put kits together All the time. that will make american kids go, what is that and they will try it.

Like 70 something bucks. The regular f430 challange kits run less than 40. They are getting hard to find and more expensive on ebay each day. I was alittle let down that wheel and other decals were not in the kit. I will have to scavenge a number plate from somewhere

The seats were covered with KA Models B-sheet carbon fiber decals
