  1. Don't for get the back up lights also
  2. They need to get rid of that grill. The car has what looks like 3/4 changes but the thing they always over look is the dang grill though . maybe if they change that, it would look a whole lot better as a whole car. I will give them this much, the car does look alittle better as in design now. If they knew how to do the job correct with afew things, they could indeed have a very nice charger 4 door car there and have everything work out nice.
  3. How long in between coats? well I can't answer for the other person, but for me, the stuff drys very nice and quick. I would say maybe 20 to 30 minutes if that as that is how long mine takes to dry. About the polishing part, I heard people say you couldn't but yet I have tested that out with some plastic sheet color like I would paint a model and then after the future dried I took one kind of polish that I have here and I manage to get the stuff to work as the stuff came out shiny where I could see my reflection in.
  4. I'll 2nd that. That is what I always do.
  5. Okay then I don't care what it is, all I care is just as long as it work's.. is all. To my understand from afew days ago is this, 6 Battery's at 1.5Voltage = 9voltage. I all I needed was 9-12 voltage was all. I decided to go with the 9 voltage route with 1amp, but I also designed the project system to be or I should say the system can be at even time converted over to 12 volts 2amps instead 9volts and 1amp that it is now.
  6. Well, I went to the main page of there web site and a link name called subscribe here is that link http://modelcarsmag.com/subscribe.html
  7. Thanks.. I think I just got done doing a 4 days worth system semantics wiring design.. and let me just say was it ever so much fun with what went where and to what
  8. You guys will get to see it, I just don't know when though, but when I get it all done, I'll post it up so you all can see it. But just so you all know, when time comes and I do post photos of the project, you all might think I am alittle
  9. I always thought... chuck... looked alittle weird.
  10. First off I'm sorry if I sounded alittle rude before or like if I was snapping at you bud. I wasn't, I just been going at numbers for battery's and working on this system design is all and working between two systems set ups for one project is all.. and only have afew more days to have it finish up. But with what you just said about a small transformer, you kinda gave me an idea that I wasn't really thinking about or in at all. I'm going to see if I can find a switch that works with 2amps but yet converts the amps down to 1amp on the other side of it though. I know you was only trying to help me before, thanks again for the help so far.
  11. Please don't worry about what I am planing to power, all I needed was info on battery's.. to figure an issue I had out. What I will be powering will need more then just 3 volts, 3 volts wouldn't even do a thing for the project. Only and mostly a 2amp 9-12 volt will do the job.
  12. Well so far you guys have been way more helpful then anything. I am getting ready to work on a big project for a friend, but the issue I am running into is the Amps and volts with the switches. The plans right now is that this project will have more then just 1 to 3 switches operating it on and off the base it will have as well. But the thing is not everything will be on at one time mostly is all, that is where the switches comes into play at. I am designing the system to have a master switch that will feed the other switches. But getting everything to work with each other is what I am working on right now though.
  13. Here is all I am going to reveal about a project, "2.2Amps (2200milliamps) and around anywhere around 9-12 volts." Now, for you all that knows this kind of stuff. Maybe you can help me out alittle more on this. Say I have a 2Amp system 12 volt, now I have a 1Amp switch, I am thinking that switch will be history. Now say I got a 2Amp main switch, would it work if I Y off the wires coming from it to say a different 1Amp switch for there say own thing? Not all of the things will be running at one time on the project. Man I feel like I am designing a dang house here. LOL and almost needing a dang a fuse box. LOL Hey come to think about it, that does give me an idea... um..
  14. Okay, someone please correct me if I am work with this. I have alot of use battery's here in AA and AAA and D's as well. Now correct me if I am wrong but on the AA it reads 1.5v, now wouldn't two of them be 3v? The reason I ask is I know a store over in town that carrys a wide range of battery's for a very very cheap price and that is mostly where I get all my battery's from for my flash lights and other cameras. I was just setting here and after the follow member mention about the battery in front of them.. it dawn on me that I had a whole box full of used ones in the back room (doh). Then it got me thinking, if I have to I will build a battery. LOL
  15. Okay, let me ask the qiestion alittle more clearly. How many volts and amps are in 1AA? How many amps are in 1AAA? Amps in 1D? Will this power be on continuously? I don't know to be honest, but the answer is probably not though. Will it be on only at times? Yes. Do I want a single or rechargeable? doesn't matter to me to be honest just as long as it works (LOL), but something is telling me rechargeables though. Is weight an issue? Yes, kinda just like the space is. How long do I plan on running it between charges? That all depends, if I'm or a friend of mine has it at an event or anywhere, who knows. How much weight can you tolerate? weight is kinda a issue also some what, I'm trying to keep it light weighted but have all things working though.
  16. Hi guys, maybe someone here can be of better help with me. I been talking with a lady today by email and it seems I'm not getting to far with getting answers. So I'm going to try here. I need to know say what battery's and how many would make 2amps and say 12volts? the space is limited also. Thanks in advance for any help.
  17. Hi Gregg, no I haven't uploaded new photos yet to facebook. But I was doing some copying of links from ones that I uploaded before to another site earlier and all a sudden a photo right infrot of my eyes on the screen just vanished. Now when I went from Firefox to IE7 the photos was still there on facebook BUT when I went in the same folder and same photo with Firefox, it wasn't there though but the "Add Caption" and the feedback area was there though.. it was only the photo that was mia with firefox. So I'm I think what my issue is when I come to think about it is with some software update or something with firefox OR like you mention might be with facebook also. Because I can go to photobuck with firefox and no issues.. it's only with facebook. I loved photobucket before but with their new format I don't like it to much anymore, I was looking for the change button they loose to have where you could change things back but I think they done away with that though now. I 99.9% of the time always used photobucket to even post photos on here to share with you all, unless I link a thread over to someplace else that also have the photos on. I heard from afew other folks that Fotki could be a pain in the rear at linking photos to some sites at times so I always stayed clear of that place (LOL). But I'm always open to sugjestions on photo hosting places.
  18. I was going to use facebook for a photo hosting to post my photos from as well share with my friends there as well, you know two birds with one stone in a way so to speak. Well afew hours ago (10PM), while using forefox I kinda ran into a issue all a sudden. I can see my albums okay, but it's when I click on a photo to enter that one all I see is the "Add Caption" text and the comment feild where people can leave comments. BUT no photo at all though. I was wondering, anyone else on here using facebook having the same kind off issue I am having as of recent with there photos over there?
  19. Is he that back up? I don't get the mag, anything I want to know I can find on the net or on the forum here, way faster and easier and enjoyable as well.
  20. The pro charger unit I built for my project, I used fiberglass on it and that is a small unit I might add. Get a tooth pick and dip it in the resin after you mix it and easy work your way from there. I know the fiberglass resin will work. One thing about me, I don't think... I do. Fiberglass sticks well to surfaces very well, it's almost hard to get the stuff release it's grip from things unless you use some force. For me the stuff has always stuck and had a good grip on things for when I tried to remove in the past from things as I always had to resort to a putty knife or a screw driver to get the stuff to release it's dang grip. So now days I also use it as a form of glue as well for on metal stuff if my super glue and epoxy glue doesn't hold.
  21. If your having issues with the door hinges and the aluminum tubing with the epoxy glue, try some fiberglass resin. . That's what I using on my pro charger unit on my build.. to keep the tub from braking free. I tried super glue.. no luck, tried epoxy glue and yet still no luck.. I broke out the fiberglass resin then and had luck.
  22. I like it. I'll be watching this build.
  23. I just sent them some feedback in their "contact us" area. I personally don't like there new format.. but I'm wondering if facebook can host photos also and copy and past like we can in photobucket. I might have to add the tags for the img part but it will be far easier though.
  24. It kinda reminded me of roman noodles. Or maybe a Tuxs.
