  1. I know this is probably in the wrong place, if so please move it to the correct location. I got a Detail Master Photoetch racing seat belt kit here but I didn't get not pathlet on how to work the straps though. It's for a 1/24 1/25 scale model. Any help would be great. Thank you.
  2. Try some Prep-All. I use it all the time... even for cleaning my hands of paint, tar, glue.
  3. It must have been a dang speed bump in the road.
  4. Thanks Danno for the tip man. I will take it into concideration for next time. But to be honest, before when I would post afew (3 to 5 photos) photos on other boards of my projects I would get people asking me if I had anymore photos of certain areas and if I could post them. That is where the habit came into play at as to posting quite afew photos from different angels.
  5. Sorry for all the photo's haven't updated for afew days. I'm doing my best to keep the number of photos to a min.
  6. As you can tell in afew photos I am having slight camera issues..
  7. Okay here is the update on Lee3.
  8. Mike, your talking about the 1970 Charger head light doors. The 1968 - 1969 ran on vac power and each head light had it's own vac powered pod's.
  9. Consol just about finish up.. The shell, the areas that are being painted green are suppose to be factory color, and also correct color for this project as well.
  10. Removed the tape of the interior pieces. A mock up. Added the carpet to the consol sides, plus added a trim piece to the pass side of the consol. Here is a size comparison of the shifter knob to my thumb.
  11. I use his decals also on some of my projects, I do highly recommend his decals. Davin, your doing a good job so far on your build here man. Keep up the good work.
  12. Looks nice. I like the color combo.
  13. Hi you all, well the last few days I took and cleaned up the dash, and also did some work to the consol top as well, it still needs finish yet though. Here you can see the grain on the side of the consol
  14. Um.. another Back To the Future fan also?
  15. Well, it's 6:30PM here EST and I'm still here, dang I think the rapture is running behind on schedule or something.
  16. um.. I would say for model car building.
  17. Davin, you know man, when I read what he said. I knew he was mistaken you for me . BTW your doing one very fine job on your build here man. Just so you know, I have 3 General's in the works. Two posted on here and one not posted on here.
  18. Welcome to the forum, you'll love it here.
  19. Your welcome, and also thank you for the sub to mind as well and I also hope you enjoy watching my videos.
  20. I'm on there as well. look up moparlover80 if you want to find me on there. I just sub to your channel as well.
  21. I do want to thank you for being honest and giving your view as well. I don't think I side it before or maybe I went to but for got to. I'm still working on weathering the chassis yet with alittle more detail. But with the things you just address here I will take into consideration when working on the chassis before long. I will keep sharing the photos on here as I progress through the build.
  22. You ask a legit question. I will answer the best as I can. The green is the factory color that the real car came with from the well the factory. You see I do my model builds with a factory color first & if I know what the correct color is/was I go with that. In this case I knew what factory color the real Lee3 was. You see the cars on the show was never ever strip of paint and then repainted orange, they was painted orange right over the factory color. By doing this, it also played a big part in why the car oranges also looked different all the time because it was do to what ever the factory color of the car originally was under that orange paint job on those cars. They built alot of the General's in 8 hours flat. The chassis on the Lee3 model here I painted green, then weathered it to give it that ran hard and down those back dirt roads and over land where the car would more like bottom out here or there at times. You know give it that used and weathered look like any old car out there that are 10 years old would look like under sided.
  23. I had to remove the shifter to redo the consol. I have the shifter and all, just have to re-attach it is all and finish the consol up. I know alot about the charger's from on the show and how some of them was set up for afew things as well. I said show as tv series . I also know stuff about the 05 movie cars as well. Yes the General on the show did have an automatic. The sound effect you heard was from the sound track they used in the movie Bullitt though.
