Hello......I got the body painted Alclad........and the nose airbrushed with Tamiya clear blue, red, orange and yellow for a burnt effect......the body is assembled to the chassis......I will primmer the door`s ,top`s and trunk today.......thank`s for looking.

Harry......I will add a little chrome paint to tone down the sharp points......but,I do like to live dangerously......thank`s.

Chuck........I know what you mean.........this is a picture of the 1:1 "Thunderflite" steering wheel......I used this idea for my "Mercury Rising".......thank`s

Rob........the gauge crystal`s are from Michael`s Art store....... they are multi different sized stickers that come on a sheet of plastic ......they also come in different transparent color`s........the radio decal comes with the Mercury kit.......thank`s.

Hello......not much of a up-date.......just worked on the dash and put another coat of primer on the body......I will sand the body and put color on it tomorrow.......thank`s for looking.

Cesar......the Flathead is from the Revell 37` Ford Pickup Street Rod 2`n1 kit......I cut off the tran`s from the Flathead and and used the Mercury tran`s so that it fit to the Mercury chassis......thank`s,.

Hello......I re-worked the hood.......added a scoop......got some primer and putty on the body......did some flocking on the trunk and interior.....I will sand the body and re-primer tomorrow.......and work on the dash........thank`s for looking.

Michael.......thank you for your input ......it made me decide to go without the fan...... I was wondering myself........ why? the fan was connected to the generator.......I have other reference pictures that show the engine without the fan.......but,it clearly show`s the fan connected to the generator in these Revell instruction sheet pictures......thank`s.

Hello......I got the engine and chassis assembled to the floor pan.........did some more plumbing to the engine....... got the brake lines hooked up......I will put the radiator in latter........I will work on the interior tonight......thank`s for looking.

Hello.......I decided to put a Flathead engine into the "Mercury is Rising".......wired and plumbed using "Pro tech" part`s.....engine is painted H.O.K. kandy Red and tran`s painted alclad.......floor -pan painted Alclad and weathered........firewall wired........ and I made a custom battery box.......frame painted alclad .....wheel`s and engine assembled to frame.......I will hook up the brake lines and fuel line tonight......thank`s for looking.
