Hello......I got the door`s and trunk hinged....... and did some work on the door jam`s ......just need to do a little sanding and shaping.......I`ll work on the chassis tonight.......thank`s for looking.

Hello......I decided that I want a 2 n` 1 version of the this "Mercury Rising"......it will be a convertible roadster or a "Bubble Top".......I started construction on the bubble top......I used the bubble top from the re-release of the Monogram `58 Thunderbird........I cut the bubble in 1/2......it`s in the rough stages but, I will shape and fit to the body......thank`s for looking.

George.....yes,this is a resin body and front clip and tub and engine kit fro Greg Wann "Master Caster" from Arizona.......the donor kit is a Revell/Monogram `70 Buick GSX 2`n1 kit.......Greg is the same guy who made the "Cosma Ray" resin kit.......Danno can hook you up with the website.....thank`s

Harry......great question...... when I would trim the chrome part from the tree..... in my eye`s .sometimes you see the chrome is missing from the part you trimmed......and it just does not work for me when you touch it up with chrome paint or foil ......I like the part to look uniform ......and sometimes the chrome from the kit doesn`t look right to me.....that`s just my thought.......and to tell you the truth it`s really not that much extra work.....thank`s

Hello......this is another resin body from : Mr. Greg Wann the "Master Caster" from Arizona the: "Moonlight Modeler`s Club".......the donor kit is a Revell/ Monogram `70 Buick GSX kit........I did few modifications.......H.O.K. gold base with H.O.K. Pagan Gold and H.O.K. Black on the hood..... stripped all chrome and painted alclad.........I used "Pro Tech" t`,fittings,spark plug wire`s,wire loom`s,detailing wire,nut and bolt end`s,gauges and rubber fuel line......bare-metal foil ,kitchen shelving sticky paper for the wood grain effect...... and medical bandage tape on the seats and door panels airbrushed with "Odd`s and End`s" enamel paint........ and velvet black carpeting ......thank you Greg for a fine resin body kit.......if you would like to see how I built this model please look in the "Workbench" section......thank`s
