Hello.....this is a replica of artist Mike Lomaka`s "ITALIVETTE" drawing........I started with a 1/24 Revell 66 Penske Racing Corvette that was given to everybody that attended this years GSL model show......and I used a 1/24 Revell Ferrari Superamerica kit that I won at a the 1st Citrus Nationals model show.......I used the engine and the chassis from the Ferrari and combined the Ferrari and Corvette interior to the Corvette body......alot of modifications for it to work.......wired and plumbed.....flocking,baremetal foil and alclad paint.......body was painted with a H.O.K. white base coat and Dupont "Jarret" red......if you would like to see how I built this model please visit the "Workbench" section .........thank you Mr. Lomaka for the inspiration you gave me to build this model.......thank`s for looking.

Wayne......I love Daryl`s work......I have been a big fan of Daryl`s work when I first started building......as a matter of fact I had him make me a weathered and crashed "Little Red Wagon".......about 4 years ago......it turned out great.....since then I have built a detailed "little Red Wagon".........it sit`s next to Wayne`s weathered Masterpiece he built me......thank`s again Daryl.

" Keith......thank you for your keen observation of a replica of artist Mike Lomaka`s drawing.....or as you call it the " Vette thing"......I have corrected the license plate that was covering 1/2 the exhaust outlet........thanks

Hello......well I just need to put on a few decals and a few more details and it`s finished.......I am disappointed in my self.....I wish I would have done a few things differently....oh well......I should have finished pictures tomorrow......thank`s for looking.

Romell......you forgot to mention the most important detail......I fart realism.

Hello......I got the interior and glass assembled to the body......front grill is on........headlights and taillight`s are on....... the body is not yet glued to the chassis.......I need to finish up the engine plumbing.......... and paint the front spoiler, side vent doors and rear diffuser.......it should really change the look of the body.......few more days and it should be done......thanks for looking.

Hello......I got some color on the body.......H.O.K. white base coat.........Dupont "Jarret" red and clear coat......I will sand it down smooth today and give it one more clear coat.......thank`s for looking.

Roger......you may be playing with an old AMT kit?.......but,sure look`s like your having fun........can`t wait to see this finished.

Nate.......thank you for your suggestion.......I wish you would have posted this suggestion while I was doing the body work.......the body has been painted and clear coated .......and while I was doing the body work and studying the artist drawing......I missed the slanted vents......I did not look close enough to notice the vents were slanted in the drawing.......maybe when I make the vent doors I can make them seem slanted to give the effect of an angle?........just a thought?
