  1. Great news Bill, as you know, I am a big VW fan and yes, I said I was not buying any more models but that goes out the window with this one. Probably will get 5 or 6, not kidding!! The Opel also looks cool, reminds me of the old RX3 Mazda of the 70's, I will be getting some of those too......
  2. That's right George, we "unknowns" are gonna live for ever!!! My advice to you, don't become too popular in this forum or you just might be next in line!!!
  3. Love VW's!!! Great job man, color is pretty unique!!!

Very cool Dale, like all your work!!!!!
  5. Farrah was a nobody compared to this icon guys, I mean, he was a weird guy but there's no denying his talent and how hugely popular and famous this guy was. What really gets to me is the men crying at his concerts, talk about weird!!!!
  6. Very cool!!!
  7. Beautiful job Bob!! Now, where's the VW????
  8. Now that's what I'm talking about!!!!Thanks...
  9. Great tips Dave but you forgot something........ Pictures of your painted and finished models!!!! I am sure we all want to see them, it just makes this great tutorial more complete. Thanks!!!!
  10. Seeing what's happening here one might get rich just by selling the Demon decal sheet if they were to be succesful in printing one on decal paper!! I tried Keith Marks, he doesn't have them.....
  11. Thanks a lot Andy, didn't think about that and thanks to everybody for their input!!
  12. Thanks my friend and if anyone else wants to help I will greatly appreciate it, just name the price, I am desperate!!!
  13. I had a good friend send this decal sheet of a '71 Dodge Demon. My question is, can anyone out there print this on a decal sheet so that I may use it on my resin model? I am willing to pay anyone. I need at least 4 copies, just name the price..... It is a 1/25 scale kit. Hosted on Fotki
  14. Thanks for the response guys! Personally, if it's too thick I will probably stay away from it and if I decide to use it I will airbrush it, I like to see and keep the subtle details on my models. Looks to me that it will be perfect for customs or any models that have less details like scripts and molding. Again, thanks for the quick response!!!
  15. I keep hearing good things about this clear. How many of you guys like it out there? Do they wet-sand and polish well?
  16. This is cool man, you did a great job!!!!
  17. Very cool considering the model's simplicity!!!
  18. Very cool, I wanted to see how this color looked and of course, you picked the perfect color to compliment it by using the phoenician yellow!!!

Thanks man, this was just a test, I admit to being a dumbass when it comes to photo sharing!!!!
  21. They look great Dale, just a bit more lighting and it should work just fine!!!!
  22. Thanks Mike and no, you definetly don't want to use a dremel tool for this kind of work!!!
  23. I purchased mine through my LHS, if you look at the pictures it says missionmodels.com, try that, good luck!!!
  24. I have always beleived that to do a good job you need the right tools. There are some tools out there that are essential to have in your tool box or hobby room, this is one of them. I have used this tool before but never thought about sharing it with you guys so whoever owns one out there knows exactly what I am about to say. I recently ordered a Dodge Demon from the Model Car Roundup website. It was pretty rough, (not to talk negatively about Model Car Roundup) so I had to do quite a bit of cleanup to get it in shape. Hosted on Fotki After cleaning it up a bit I started working with the hood scoops. I started thinking about how to attack the excessive resin inside the scoops without messing them up and remembered that I had purchased this great little tool. The chisels come in different sizes which came in handy in able to do what I needed to do. Hosted on Fotki Hosted on Fotki Hosted on Fotki These little chisels are very sharp and work very nicely, one must be careful when using them not only for personal safety reasons but also for the fact that you can easily mess up and cut off too much of your work, I recommend to just take your time and take off the least amount of resin or plastic when working with them. Patience and time is key here. Hosted on Fotki Here is a picture of the hood. As you can see, the one on the left is untouched while the other one is already under way. Hosted on Fotki Hosted on Fotki Here is the completed hood, hope you guys consider this to be useful information and go out and acquire one of these micro chisels, I guarantee you will love them. It's just one of those products that are easy to recommend. Now, if only they could pay me for the plug!! Hosted on Fotki
