  1. Hey guys, I am interested in building the Model King Mercury Cyclone and need some info on how to plumb those vintage engines. Anybody out there w/ some info on this? You know, which hoses go connected from one end to the other, oil pump plumbing, etc. etc.......
  2. Thanks Andy, I will make sure to get together w/ him and Jonathan since I have like a million questions!!! And yes, old fart I am specially when I see nowadays that even CD's are becoming ancient with all these computer advancements. What can I say, we gots to keep up with the times right?
  3. What???? You don't have an ipod??? Impossible!!! I thought you would be an expert on this thing already seeing that you young guys just gulp all this tech stuff like candy!!!
  4. Yeah Ron, I saw it, I like his builds man, never saw the guy before but looks like a great modeler to me!!!

    '41 Willys!!!

Whole engine is Alcladed. What I did was take the chrome off, primer the blower and paint it with the body color, used Tamiya tape and cover the painted sections and just brush the lighter green colors on and around the blower....
  6. What about pictures, how do you go about doing that? My boy Johnathan showed me his pictures of the models he has and that alone made me decide on buying one of these things. Like everything, I know it's a matter of time before I learn to use it but I am desperate Thanks for the input fellas!!!
  7. Thanks Bill, I am at work right now and all of a sudden I got pretty busy, by the look of things, my system is very different from yours which is giving me a greater headache, I didn't know you spoke chinese Anyway, I am getting together w/ Johnathan from the CPMCC club, he is real good w/ all this technical bull but any input on this thread by you and others will always be helpful. Thanks my friend!!!
  8. Hey guys, just bought an 80GB ipod, I know that there are a lot of you that have them and since I am new and dum at the same time about these things I was wondering if you guys can use this thread to teach us a few tips. I e-mailed PM Jonathan (DUB) so that he can give me a few pointers not only about how to burn CD's into the ipod but also on how to put pictures or videos etc. etc. I am sure that there are other people w/ questions, at least I hope, that would like to know a bit more about this. Thanks!!!

Everything you see there comes w/ the kit, it was basically a box stock build, I just lowered it a bit more!!
  10. Whats up homeboiski!!!! Those Ferraris are from Harold Bradford but Gordon builds them for him, he is one of the old MAMA members. There is a red Modena that was just awesome, I didn't know the guys name, first time I saw him there...

  19. As shown here, sometimes less is more, really cool build man!!!
  20. Mazda is Aoshima, thanks!!!
  21. I did the Mazda about 5 months ago, you probably didn't make it to the meeting when I brought it. Hey Bob, you are correct about the Tamiya cans, I also decant them but also finish my last clear coats w/ the can......
  22. Have you tried using Tamiya Smoke? Comes in the spray can and goes on well. You just have to make sure to mist the coats as you apply it, this paint will run on you really quick so you really have to mist it until you get the desired shade. I have had great success w/ it.......
  23. Thanks for the pics Dan, cool stuff there man!!!!
  24. If it can't take closeups up the figurines skirts you might as well return it and keep the old one!!!!!
  25. Hey, don't get it wrong, I am just "detail" oriented" okay!!!!!!
