    Boogers??? You guys are nasty!!!
  2. The white top and the blue color really looks neat, blends together well. I like the way the paints lay out also, personally I think that the sparkles are a bit out of scale but it came out nice. I used the Evening Orchid Metallic on a '57 Chevy I did and that was my only gripe about these paints. I think they would go perfect with the lowrider guys though!!! Very cool job on this my friend!!!
  3. I was not too crazy about the scale look of the stickshift in the kit so I did what I usually do and broke out my needles to simulate the one in the kit. I followed the contours more or less and these are the results. I also detailed the console with some BMF and installed the stickshift..... Also detailed the pedals w/ some Rub and Buff!!!!.More on this build a little later, hopefully.....
  4. Okay guys, finally took a bit of time off my busy schedule and decided to paint some details here and there on the Charger. One of the parts that require a little bit of attention is the steering wheel, I took some time off to remove some plastic off the spoke that holds the wheel and decided to Alclad the whole thing since I wanted the spokes to come out chrome. I mixed 2 different shades of brown that I had in my paint rack and decided to use it for the steering wheel to simulate the color it had in '68. It came out a bit too glossy so once dry, I will dull it a bit more. These are all the interior parts painted in semi-gloss black. I will also be adding some scratchbuilt carpets. This is a picture of what the steering wheel is suppose to look like!!
  5. Nice color Kerc, you better break out the polishing cloths, your'e gonna be busy with them!! I like the interior color also!!
  6. Wow, what can I say, the man knows his way around the crayons!!! Our mini Foose!!!!

Looks fantastic Jonathan, the stance is perfect as well as the subject chosen!!!
  8. That is awesome Bob, and with your skills it's just superb, really looks like something you could just buy and drive right out of a dealer!!! Congratulations, you have a winner here!!!!
  9. Thanks Jonathan, I just fixed it, was running out the door when I posted this and w/ the rush came the mistake!!!
  10. Hey, seeing that everyone is bringing out the F-50 artillery we might as well post our favorites here, please join in if you have any of what I consider one of the best kits Revell-Monogram ever made. This one I did several years ago, paint is Boyds Pacific Blue w/ Boyds clear!!!!
  11. Excellent job on this man!!!! Pretty unique...

    Dino 246GTS

Vicious!!!!! Love the color and that black top, everything really flows around the vehicle, great job as usual Randy!!!!
  13. Like Bill, I have a Crescendo also, it's a great airbrush, so great that I have a backup of the same one but this one has lasted over 15 years without any issues. To tell you the truth, the only time I thoroughly clean it is when I am ready to paint a body, other than that I just run lacquer thinner through it and just use it like that. If I am running any water based paint, then of course I thoroughly clean it!!!
  14. My 2 little brats, these are barking machines!!!
  15. Very cool man!!!!
  16. Hey Randy, with all due respect man, I'm gonna have to go out and break a bone or two, this way I will be able to turn out better models than the ones I'm building nowadays!!!! You are just kicking some behinds with these builds!! I'm gonna do what Lyle is doing at the meetings, just putting my models in the no contest section!!! This is going to be awesome and in that color, WOW!!!!!!
  17. Come on Bill, we all know that's not yours, I don't see the windows cranking down, the doors opening or the plumbing and wiring obsessively done!!! Look, if you want to accumulate points at the CPMCC meetings, all you have to do is what I usually do, buy the "high-ups" some models on the side!!!
  18. Repeat with me and see if you understood!!! WE ARE HERE FOR THE PURPOSE OF SHARING OUR PASSION FOR AUTOMOTIVE MODELLING. Again, WE ARE HERE FOR THE PURPOSE OF SHARING OUR PASSION FOR AUTOMOTIVE MODELLING. Now, if that's not clear English,I don't know what it is. By the way, I can also write this in Spanish and I am pretty sure that there are other members in here that can write it in different languages too!!! Come on guys, it's not hard to follow rules, really!!!
