  12. Congratulations my friend, very nice job, happy I can be of assistance as that is the reason we are all here. I have not used that one yet but I am sure it will be used at some time in the near future specially after seeing how well you did w/ this!!
  13. I went with some textured paint to simulate the carpeting, I was a bit lazy to use the embossing powder trick I learned and also, the floor on this model is pretty hidden away after the model is complete. I decided to make, for the first time that is, some floor mats, I am happy w/ the results, I was lucky I guess!! I also textured these in a slightly lighter color to create some contrast!!! Here are the seats in place and the different shades of colors that compliment the whole interior!!!
  14. What's up guys, I rubbed and buffed until my heart was content and these are the results!! I still have to work w/ the panel lines a bit but I am happy up to now, of course I also have to work some more on detiling the windows and stuff around the body!!!
  15. Looks good, I like the different stuff!!!
  16. Outstanding man, very clean, love the color!!!
  17. Thanks for taking your time and showing this, personally I am getting at the least three of these with several going to Puerto Rico for my good friend, one of my favorite cars of all time, I had a real SS 69 in NY years ago!!
  18. Excellent job on this man, one of my favorite year Camaros!!!
  19. Hey Bill, forget about the tutorial and just keep showing us all your beauties!!!! No, I don't mean your old girlfriends, I meant your models!!! No, that the girl models, your plast..... ahh, what the heck!!!!
  20. I just took a pencil and passed it right over the lines as you can see here, I think it gives it just the right sheen, you just have to be careful not to handle it much.... For your valve covers, after you paint them black, preferrably Flat, you can use these pastes that I bought at Michael's Crafts Store. What you do is just dab a little bit on top of your workbench, put a little bit on your finger and after using your other hand as a pallete and taking some excess off just rub off the paste above the raised lines of your valve covers, you should be able to clearly see the lines without messing up the valve covers. You can also do this with a flat brush! At the end, if you want your valve covers with a bit of a semi gloss look you can always spray them at the end.

  22. Hey Abe, I really think you will like this!!
  23. Listen to Bill on this, I use the same system and it works great!!!Thanks for the tip Bill!!!
  24. Thanks Jay, yes, this is the Fujimi kit and a nice one at that. The stance that you see is the final onobstructed one, these Japanese kits are usually good when it comes to that. The texture that you see painted in red which will mount on top of the engine is slightly done by shooting it at a pretty far distance to recreate it.
  25. Never been a fan of open wheel racing but I am a big fan of excellent model building craftsmanship, this is fantastic work my friend, always enjoy your work!!!
