  1. What's funny is that last year I bought a Dodge Ram from Car Max and just the other day I was planning to trade it in for a 4 cylinder car and someone told me that they are not accepting SUV's or trucks as trade-ins. I guess I am f^%ed That thing really guzzles too
  2. I have been reduced to a small space in the laundry room in the basement, can't complain though, I had to build on the dinning room table at one time in my previous apartment, at least now I don't have to pack everytime it's dinner time!!!! Home made spray booth!!! And finally my two helpers!!!
  3. COOOOOOOOOOOOOL!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

    Yellow Enzo

Very nice work but super glue and clear plastic don't get along, I like to also use Future floor wax, holds pretty good. I did fing some Gel super glue that worked with clear plastic but I liked the Future option!!
  12. Very cool!!!
  13. Hey buddy, what's going on?? If you take 95 North and get off on exit 77, Bel Air, head North on route 24. It is right next to 95 so when you get off at the exit, make a left on Tollgate Rd. The Lowes is right around the corner from there next to the Wal-Mart and Target. PM me if you are going so that we can hang my friend!!! It's a place worth going
  14. Want some advise??? Use the '55 on the background!!!
  15. Hey Jonathan and Nick, thanks for the comments but I don't think I will be at the Nats on that weekend, have too much to do at home but hopefully I can be there for the next meeting!!
  16. Gee!!! I don't know!! Can you say Barrett Jackson???
  17. Thanks for all the replies fellas, it was a pleasure sharing this build w/ all of yous, not to mention how much fun I had building it!!
  18. The question is how will the wife spend it
  19. Thanks Dan, I always tell a lot of the guys in the forum not to shoot the models in direct sunlight, pictures are too bright and you don't really see the gloss on the paints specially on the white colors or anything light. For cars w/ mettalic finishes like this one it's even worse, you have to keep the metallics to a minimum, at least my humble opinion, again, thanks for the comments!!!
  20. Had to add a little bit of plastic to the hood scoop, when I did all the alterations to the model the engine had to be placed higher than normal and the carbs were the first to peek a little past the hood. I just finished painting it so I will let it dry and then polish it to ultimately place it on the hood!!!
  21. One of the things you have to worry about lowering these old models is all the alterations that come afterwards specially when they are drag style vehicles!!!
  22. I don't think he is Izzy, I know he used to belong to our Maryland club but he moved. E-mail Lyle and see what he tells you, he knows him well and will be able to tell you better. I bought some paint from him about 7 years ago when he was w/ the club but haven't heard from him since!! I also have a friend who doesn't airbrush and he gave me about 40 bottles that he had bought from him, what color are you looking for? I might be able to send you something if I have it!! PM me through here or Scalebuilder.com......
  23. Here is a link to the Friday Lowes meet around my house in Maryland. Lots of cars every Friday!!! http://s99.photobucket.com/albums/l284/mmm...uise%205-23-08/ For you guys in Maryland, it is a place worth visiting on Fridays!!!!
