This is just a little more progress on my Corolla after rubbing it out. I have to start on the window trim and other small details to try finishing this one up. A mock up just to have an idea how it will look at the end........
Sorry the pictures are a little dark, I will make sure to take better ones when completed
OK!!!!! Now I am going to have to explain myself and the reasons for this post, I think I stirred something I am kind of a dummy when it comes to computer stuff, it just intimidates me so I asked my good friend Luis Ayala from Puerto Rico to show me how to post pictures from a CD into the forum and here you have it This was from an exhibition somewhere in Puerto Rico in which the guys were showing some models I believe in a mall or something. No Bill, you did not bring your 57' Chevy with us that time to P.R. You had enough troubles at the airport with the others you did bring Hey Jairus, the store that was close to the model sells the briefs at a discounted price
You will not find a better caster out there than Norm, I can assure you. Even though I am still debating between him and Harold Bradford but they are just incredible casters and they use the best materials you can find out there to the point that you don't even have to use any cleaning agents for their parts, just dish washing liquid and that's all. It is a real honor to know these guys and even better, to have them as one of our members in the club.
BTW, you'll want to put your full name in your signature, lest Constable Jairus dings you for not doing so. Just go to "My Controls" and under edit signature, you can put your name. Very nice work man................
Hey my friend, hope everything goes well with the show, make sure you tell the guys to post pictures of the event when all is said and done, good luck and thank you for making it a great show along with the other guys that put their effort and time.........
There is also the option of a Co2 tank, probably 150 to 180 dollars but they last a pretty long time, 100% quiet and you don't even need a moisture trap.............
Hey Mike, good to see you around these parts man, looking forward to seeing more of your work around here, they will love you. Nice job on this progress, keep us posted please!!!!!!!
Talk to Ariel, one of the guys here in the forum, send him a private message and if he doesn't have any more he will get them made for you................
Hey bro, these are just pictures and believe me when I tell you, they hide a lot of imperfections, I will definetly be rubbing and polishing this thing soon to bring out the real shine
Here is a little bit more progress on the Corolla, after priming I shot a few coats of Testors Lacquers Nassau Blue Metallic and then a few coats of clear, I will be polishing it soon.......
Hope to be polishing this baby by tonight........
Welcome my friend, it is always nice to see a new member joining us and most of all someone that works with a lot of weathering techniques, if you are planning to post more pictures, specially in progress pictures it would be nice if you can share with us those techniques, very nice job on this one...................
Hey, all you have to do is go into photobucket.com and under username and password just type mmmdrc and it will take you to all my pictures and categories, the one from the link is MAMA metting 10-20-07.
Why worry about drawing proportions and stuff when you paint and build as nice as this, as for me I will be using one of these designs at some point or the other. Great attitude on your part Jose, it is the reason why I love this forum so much man, I am positive that the guys are not critizicing your work but making constructive comments about it, very proud to call you my COMPATRIOT from PUERTO RICO where I know so much talent exists.........
Hey, look at it this way, if you have a nose bleed and it gets on the car it won't get noticed Bob,s recommendation is very good, don,t worry, we all learned the hard way, personally I am still hitting some walls myself Nice job man!!!!!!!
