  7. Very impressive work my friend, I love green and that shade looks perfect. Like your wheel and tire choice also
  8. Very cool, definetly the color I will do mine in when I decide to build it.............
  9. Hey Barbo, I second that notion, very proud to REPRESENT MY PEOPLE'S WORK AND EFFORTS in EVERYTHING they do. Thank you, Luis Ayala and everyone who made this possible, even though I don't live in the Island I certainly am up to date with what's happening with my people down there.
  10. Very nice and the wheel choice is not bad, I did one of these in black using one of the 3 rim choices out of the revell Acura and inserting them in Pegasus sleeves, I thought the wheels that came with the kit were too big, nice job.........
  11. That is very cool man, like the colors too..........
  12. You are right about that Bob, I never really build these lead sleds myself but just to think about how beautiful a good paintjob will go on this model with all that available surface, who wouldn't try one?
  13. I use both methods and get very good results, of course I always polish my finishes at the end anyway. I prefer the airbrush myself if I am painting a car with a lot of details such as moldings or scripts and stuff like that but a lot of the modern cars don't have lots of moldings like the old ones so I don't worry, I do however paint all my parts with the airbrush. If you do it right believe me no one can ever tell the difference............
  14. Stunning work on that Enzo man, welcome to the forum, hope to see more of your work..........
  15. RESPIRATOR!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Buy it anyway

  17. Name is Marcos Cruz, live in Maryland and belong to two clubs, Central PA model Car Club and the Maryland Automotive Modelers Association. I am a telecommunications Techniciam currently working for Bowie State University as a PBX and telephone Maintenance Technician. I am 45 years young and have been building models on and off as long as I can remember. In 1992 while living in Puerto Rico and being away from the hobby for quite some time I picked up my first issue of "the other magazine" (Sorry Greg, yours was not around yet) and that was enough to get me back into the hobby. After this, a few weeks later I found out that some modelers where getting together close to where I lived and decided to attend their get together that day. What really brought me back into this hobby to stay was a model built by who I consider to be the most talented builder in Puerto Rico, Carlos de Jesus with a stunning 69 Camaro. I did not know that so many aftermarket parts were available for these models and it just blew me away. Several years later I moved to Maryland and discovered the MAMA club and have been really into this since, I have met a lot of special friends in this pastime and also have improved a lot over the years. Of course what I like the most is the sharing of friendships and ideas and a little trophy here and there isn't bad either
  18. Hey Bill, too bad you will not be making it to the showdown tomorrow man, I guess this will make a lot of people happy. Anyway, the Magnum is coming out fabulous.
