  1. so, I got curious, I looked at 4 different versions of the 69 GTZX (the original issue, the second issue, the pro street and the convertible) and they all have the proper hood except for the original issue (which is the one Kevin pictures) which has the 68 hood. the engraving on the proper hood has something to be desired also. maybe a Johan resin piece is in order.
  2. best looking musclecar out there (and the road runner of course). had quite a few of them in my time. hey, if your looking for a hood.... just saying..... I may know someone who has one, or 2, or 6... hehe. GOTTA LOVE THEM MOPARS!!!
  3. perfect. thanks Ritchie
  4. ok, I have to send a PM to a member and the "MEMBERS" section is gone. do I have to search thru posts to find him? what is the easiest way to find someone?
  5. I remember you doing these in the 6 colors. the green one is still my favorite. nice collection, you were a busy boy in 2015.
  6. Beautiful job so far. really like what you are doing. the back panel is great. Bobby G is correct. in 63 the max wedge had 426 cubic inches. the 62 you are building, will be a 413. I am a huge fan of these cars and will be watching. 2 questions, where did the dog dish caps come from (was it the lindburg 64 dodge?) and can you get a clearer picture on the dash and what you did? I know the dash in the johan kit isn't the best. keep up the great work
  7. looking good James. great job on the body customizing. got a color picked out yet?
  8. so that makes sense, I thought they were built like the yenkos. did a quick google search and this looks like the car in the magazine. http://www.corvettes-musclecars.com/Supercars/69Baldwin/index.htm can't see if it has the tac on the hood, certainly looks like it. thanks for the info guys. I noticed also there are no side pipes either. boy, you think you know.....
  9. I was rifling thru one of my older car magazines, July '84 Super Chevy to be exact, and there was a 27,000 mile B/M Camaro article. if it wasn't for the title, I would have buzzed right past it. this Camaro in question had a seemed to a little higher than normal cowl hood and a hood mounted tac like the GTO's had. anyone ever hear of this. I thought all B/M Camaros had the L-88 hood. didn't have the typical stinger stripe either. just struck me as weird. does anyone know anything about this or any other Camaro that didn't have the typical Baldwin/Motion stuff on it? thanks.
  10. yea, one of these days. btw. you did paint that stripe on the hood, correct? what did you use for mask? very crisp lines. just a super build.
  11. I hear you, way too much on the bench right now. it isn't too far down the list though. I heard that, all I need is 1 B-1 motor and I will be set. thanks for the info Bruno, and again, really great build.
  12. doing some fine scratchbuilding here. totally different look with those skinny wheels and spokes.
  13. great. thanks for the reply and sharing the build. makes me want to get out my duster I started ages ago.... so, you have done your job Bruno. you got me motivated.
  14. Bruno, classic build as always from you. great job. btw - where can I find some of those B-1 heads and valve covers?
  15. nice. great job. like the removal of the fenderwells. gotta love them mopars!! I see your new here, those kits are great to have, but don't be afraid to use the "WANTED" section. just post up what you are looking for and 90% of the time, you will get a reply back. great people here that are willing to help out.
  16. hey, just getting back to this James. that's a super idea. tried that a while ago and it didn't turn out so well. guess I have to practice a little more. looking really good bud.
  17. oh no... thank YOU for posting this. that's what I thought you may have done with the scoop, just wasn't sure. and a great job on the headers too. true modeling at its finest.... if it's not in the box... make it. do you have a WIP thread on this?
  18. hey Brian, that body is awesome! who makes that kit? never knew one of those existed. will be a very cool build.
  19. looks great, nice combo of parts that work well together.
  20. looking good James. headers came out great. what did you use for the collectors?
  21. nice job Mitch. have been wanting to do one of these for a while so your build is motivation! 2 questions, where did the scoop and the headers come from?
  22. I second that 100%. great job on a not so great kit.
  23. another nice one James. keep them coming.
  24. very nice rundown, Bill. knew someone would come thru.
  25. hey Rick, even though I am a pro street nut, its refreshing to see totally stock non musclecars being built out there. doing a bang up job on it. now, when you get it done, drive it on over to Tubb's emporium and we can hack it up real good... hehe
