  1. more picts!!! is there a work in progress, i'd like to steal this idea....er, I mean try to build something similar.....
  2. grew up in Cuyahoga county (not sure if you'd want to move back there. kind of gone downhill). now i live just outside of Aurora in Portage county. Aurora is nice, too expensive for me. used to see Jim Thome in the Marc's discount store there every once in a while when he was still playing for the tribe. great guy. if you'd like to trade places Wayne, just let me know, that Las Vegas sun would do wonders for my psoriasis... not so well for my wallet.
  3. btw, i searched for your truck, didn't come up with it, is it posted here?
  4. no Glen, although i do have one of those. i am building the new release 2in1 t-bolt. putting a modern drivetrain in, mini tubbed and steelies with slicks. it will be black, of course. greatest color since sliced bread. just a nice little street car. would love to use the flat hood, just can't bring myself to do so, there is another t-bolt in the wings, typical white drag car w/ steelies and slicks, not too many changes out of the box.
  5. any progress on any of the silver bullet builds? i am going up to Woodward cruise this year and look forward to seeing this car.
  6. i hope that's what i am getting, just for the information side of it. hate to be the guy who puts things together and have no information on it. in post #8 scaledale said.... "I have a 2010 Mustang GT with the 4.6 liter supercharged engine that donated it's body to my Mustang Pro Stock project boxed and ready to go." is this not true? non-the-less, he sent me pictures and its a really good looking motor and should work well in the t-bolt. Fred, to be honest, there are so many versions of the mustang, i get cross-eyed trying to keep them straight. thanks for the little lesson on the motors, i could use more.. i would really like to know what the pecking order is on all these mustangs.
  7. c'mon, our river caught on fire, we deserve that title. i have not heard that term in a long time, but i have to call it home. the season is almost sold lot already, last i heard, there are a little over 12,000 tickets left.... for the season !! that's great!! there are plans for new restaurants, real estate prices for downtown building is climbing. it really is unbelievable how 1 man can effect an entire cities economy. yes i am not a basketball fan, this town has been so close to a championship, this town deserves a championship, hope it happens to the Browns first!!
  8. hehe, my wife calls it "stupid". she doesn't understand the kit bashing aspect. i tell her it's just like cooking, you can put different ingredients in the same dish to make it different..... she just give me the look.....
  9. thanks HÃ¥kan, I knew something was wrong with it, I will have to find a picture of a corrected one (or 1:1 version) and see if it is worth correcting. so there you go Gabriel, now we both know.
  10. hate to drum up an old problem, but I am getting ready to do a few t-bolts and if my mind serves me correctly, there was a problem with the kit's hood. the bubble is incorrect. I myself have no clue, being a mopar guy and all. my questions to you guys are; - has the hood been corrected in the latest version? - does anyone make a correct hood in resin, and... - what is exactly wrong with the bubble? is it that bad that it needs attention? I don't mind a little inaccuracy, but if it is way off, i'd like to fix it. I did search for this and came up with nothing on the incorrect bubble. thanks in advance, Tubbs
  11. neat. better not show that to my son, he will try to rip that carpet out!!
  12. good luck Jason. you will do well. don't let any of those older guys kick you around at all. if you were not so far away, i'd be right there cheering you on pal.
  13. ... about 20 or so of the pro street super bee/coronet kits. funny thing is I never built one of them.
  14. he did turn his cheek to Cleveland, but I really believe it was pushed by television, agents, union.... all in the name of M-O-N-E-Y !!! whoever broadcasted that back then made a killing. I don't believe it was his idea.
  15. don't know how big of news this is for all you folks, but Lebron James is coming back to Cleveland. this town is really buzzing right now. they say it comes in three's..... 1 - Johnny Manziel 2 - Republican national convention 3 - LeBron James maybe soon we can put the burning river behind us.
  16. great job on them. never had the ones in the second picture, but had a few of the older ones. played with them all the time...... no, don't have them anymore.
  17. ok, now that THAT is over, sitting here thinking about the build and I have 2 more questions..... I will be using the stock manifolds and exhaust from the 2010 mustang under the t-bold, should or can I get rid of the catalytic converters? and what about the motor that was in the super stallion with that funky induction system (Roots- supercharged, intercooled, 5.4L DOHC engine)? I forgot about this motor and I have one in my parts box. NO, I am not changing motors, but I do have more t-bolts.
  18. well Robin, technically, it is "in transit". I am putting in the 2010 Mustang GT with the 4.6 liter supercharged engine. scale Dale was kind enough to pass it on to me along with the interior and chassis from the mustang kit also. so now I have to decide just how much of the suspension and interior stuff I am going to use in this build. most likely the whole front suspension (rear will be mini tubbed so I will keep the original rear, just massage it a little), front and rear seats, steering wheel and some misc. stuff that I can fit it. thanks for asking and again thanks for all your guys help. I will post up the build when it gets started.
  19. just keep building.... love um all !!!
  20. these cudas are looking really great. good job on all of them. as far as "overspray" and undercoating on the wheels wells. I understand all about that, my opinion would be not to do it. I love over-restored cars..... keep up the good work Jason.
  21. nice build, great color. 2 suggestions if i may, 1 - take the spark plug wire off the air cleaner, and 2 - i know it can be a pain and sometimes difficult, but paint the inside of those magnum 500's. really makes a difference. keep up the nice builds, gotta love those mopars!!
  22. we have had rain off and on for days, just had a tornado touch down yesterday... in northern Ohio, that's a little out of the ordinary. second one in 2 weeks.....and below norm temperatures also.
  23. dude!! I can build the best award winning model EVER (never have, but we can dream) and my eyes will always catch something. even in my work, I find flaws, other people think its wonderful, it's in a lot of things you do. you are your own worst enemy and hardest critic. as soon as you get over that hump, you will be better off. not saying that you will stop judging your builds, but you will learn to live with it..... that's also how you get better, never be satisfied.... happy, yes. always think you can do better.
  24. nice Roger. glad to see your back at the bench.... however sporadic it may be. love the S&M cars, still have not built one myself.
  25. cool! i have seen jeeps, foreign cars, everything under the son with the "01" on the door, but never a Daytona. seems so obvious. nice build.
