    Trying to avoid going thru all my kits. Is there a 1/24th kit that has the Hurst "T" handle shifter?

    I agree with Mike, I have used TS13 over decals with no problem. Just go easy on the first couple of coats.

    I have never had a problem with the Tamiya paints. I have waited 1 to 2 weeks between coats of clear with no ill effects.

    I have the speed city version on my shelf also, my biggest problem is the front and rear glass. What did you use for them. I have an original built kit and don't really want to pop the windows out of it. Great looking build

    Thanks Dale, good info. Unfortunately they do not apply to the way the center hubs for these wheels are machined.

    Note that Mr. Colors UV clear states on the can not to use over decals. One of the few things in English on the can.

    I had exchanged several emails with Jim at Micro Nitro on this item, just no answers to the wire wheel question.

    Has anyone built up the Micro Nitro wire wheels for the nostalgia style dragsters. They came with no directions ever after I asked twice for some direction or diagram on their assembly. I just don't want them to look like a spider web once they are laced. Any help would be appreciated.

    Bleach White is available, it is now under the Black Magic label and is called Bleach White.

    Does anyone do oil filter decals in 1/24 - 1/25 scale. I know Slixx has Motorcraft and Purlator on their sheets but I am looking for Fram to relicate the 60's - 70's candy orange HP-1 Any help would be appreciated.

    I have not done blue but have done tangerine and lavender over pearl white with very good results. Paint used was HOK from Black Gold.

    You can also try Brookhurst Hobbies and Prestige Hobbies. Both are within a 10 mile radius of Long Beach.

    What paint did you use, looks like one of the best matchs I'v seen. Great job.

    One thing I have found using bleach to strip chrome is that it needs to be fresh. I have a jar on my work bench and fresh bleach will start knocking off the chrome within the first 5 - 10 minutes. I know it is going bad when I drop parts in and come back the next day and there is still chrome.
