Watching a guy toss a bunch of old 60s and 70s era kits in a trash hopper...I ask if he would like to sell them but got no reply as he tossed a big batch of very heavy things on top and locked it...

Man does that Rolling Thunder truck bring back memories...that Imperial seems to be a 68?

I have numbness and dexterity issues plus at times my hands shake its all from nerve damage I have...it comes and goes.

We had some pretty wild weather last night here....Kirksville,MO. a little drive from here had a huge funnel cloud but never heard if it got all the way down yet.

The hand gun laws here are very complicated but wish I had one just in case. They not only tore up many they took about 70% of my and my dads old stuff--60s,70s promos,kits,build ups they just tossed around and stepped on...I can get over mine but my dads oldies really hurt...now I have to see if I can find parts to repair/restore the ones still decent enough to try... That is not going to be easy going to need all the help I can get with them.

We all love to see what everyone else had done or doing with theirs here....I have been building for over 40years and still learn something new everyday.

Welcome Cory....I am a huge fan of the 60s to mid 70s cars,etc. too but mostly a factory stock kind of guy. I am lucky enough to still have some of my dads oldies...trying to restore/repair them but finding those old parts is not easy but will be worth it once found...the old family ones are priceless cant wait to see them.

With my somewhat of a budget I figure its the best way to control debt or getting into it...LOL...

Very nice kit Dan and story.... I have a build up to restore finding those body side stripes is not going to be fun planing on a factory stock version here too with mine.

I sort of have another modeling catastrophe from a couple of days before last Christmas here. I had a doctor appointment upon returning home from the visit to find the front door open to my house and a huge disaster in the model room from burglars...was not good.

I do Harry for everything I can.

Here gas goes up in price for any reason that can be thought of....while at the same time every place around my town is cheaper...hum?

I once was converting a 2door HT into a 4door wagon and after weeks worth of very careful bodywork,etc. when I reached for the spray paint to give it the first light coat on a next to no breeze or wind day and a wind gust picked it up and tossed it about 10 feet on to the concrete driveway...bummer.

Mines molded in white plastic....not too many large scale kits I like but I am a Pontiac fan shame no one ever made those in factory stock 1/25th scale. I did have the 1/8th scale 81? Pontiac Trans Am kit but it left with many others after a break in here last Christmas...bummer.

I love the 69 to 75 Impalas..owned quite a few of them myself they were great road cars....nice work I even like it in the first color combo.
