How about the Banana Splits Buggy, made by Aurora. -
Thanks for ALL the nice comments guys It has been a fairly short time & I'm still learning from my mistakes. I enjoy casting & the people I've met thru modelling. Your suggestions are always welcome! And there will be no price increases..........except for people living in certain parts of Florida.

He has one on Evilbay right now. Just search Uncertain T.

I use 60 for most of my tires. Sometimes 70 & sometimes 40 depending on the geometry of the tire.

I only use Alumilite dye with their resin/rubber. Mixing 2 different brands is hit or miss as far as the results go based on my experience. The black is very dense so you don't have to use very much. Hope this helps

I use Alumilite flex for my stuff & it comes out pretty good. You can de-mold in a couple hours.

Some new rubber & not just off-road!

Are these available in any kits? If so, I can make them. Several wheels are in the works including a rim for the off road tires that has many different center sections. Pics to follow. Thanks to all that have sent sample tires!! -
Well I guess I'll get in on the act too, since I know my old pal Art is a daily rider. I have a Mondial from Italy. Bought it new in '72 & still going strong. It's a very light weight 10 speed with all the typical do-dads of the era. The only change is it used to be green & I painted it black many moons ago. I live near the Lehigh Valley velodrome & went to the bike shop there about 15+ years ago for some tires. It was my first time in a bike shop in a looong time & things really changed! There were no more 10 speeds & bicycles didn't cost $140 any more!! They had Cannondales for $3000 & of course many other high priced models. I'll be keeping mine for a very long time!!! I also have a bike similar to the one Pee Wee Herman had in the movie that I picked up at the recycling drop off. It needs total restoration but it was too cool to let go to the crusher.

Get well soon Pat! I know it's been a long road for you but hopefully you'll be 100% soon!

Hey Mark - the next time you come out this way you'll have to stop by & see my collection of single malt. As an old timer, I loved the stuff from Shuklis, Emmons, Paeth & Keeler when I was building many moons ago. (Did anyone else enter the contest won by Jim with his Dodge Fever model??) There were many standouts in the next era with all the MPC & IMCA championships, ie Doty, Owen, the Bowmans, Behouneh, etc. And today's builders are at yet another level as detail & techniques continue to progress. I think there are too many top builders to list! After 48 years, it's still a hobby & I still enjoy it.

Hey Monty: The pot life is about 5 minutes with the Flex. I haven't had any problems with it setting up too fast. Usually I can pour 8-10 molds depending on the size of the tire. Is his setting up faster than this? There isn't any way to slow it down either as you don't want to chill it like regular resin. Any idea how many he tries to pour at once? Maybe he's over mixing? Have him email me for more help if necessary.

All of the tires will fit wheels from 1/24th or 1/25th kits. Each tire has the size of the I.D. listed on the price list so you can find the right size wheel to match in a kit, parts box, etc. Most of the tires are from the old Satco line & some are from old kits. The price list & order instructions are in the album labeled "Currently available items". Let me know if you have any other questions.
