  1. I bought a panel scriber from Micro-Mark and use black Pigma liner pens. Works really well.
  2. That car had a super hard day.
  3. I got a Hobby Lobby in my town. I went in and holy BLAH_BLAH_BLAH_BLAH they have a lot of stuff.
  4. That is extremely well done and I am surprised it is not a Galaxie..LOL
  5. I have many that I may not build, because I build maybe 5 or 8 a year but I buy that in a month, almost every month.
  6. I stock multiples of the colors I use the most, whether bottle or spray can. If I need something for a project then I buy as a go but I still buy more that what is needed.
  7. BLAH_BLAH_BLAH_BLAH! That is absolutely beautiful.
  8. holy BLAH_BLAH_BLAH_BLAH that is beautiful!
  9. That is one realistic looking build. I swear you could put the keys in and drive it away.
  10. ^ that's a 348, the small brother to the 409.
  11. Thank you Ace I will try that some time tonight.
  12. The past few issues of MCM, the Reed brother's have made leaf spring assemblies out of aluminum sheet. The question I have is how did they cut it straight and prevent it from curling when cutting. I bought a pair of micro tin snips from Micro-Mark, they work great but when you cut something small it curls and slightly bends, any help would be great. Thanks, Gary
  13. I am lucky the nearest LHS is roughly 3 miles away, he has a good selection of stuff and if I ever need anything he orders it without hesitation. The next one is 25-30 miles away, but the last time I went his focus is now more R/C and trains. Then if I feel up to it, I can drive an hour or so south of me and go to the Hobbytown USA in Schenectady/Colonie, NY. That Hobbytown is great but, I always spend way to much when I go so I limit it to one or two trips a year.
  14. At work, Yea!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

  15. Great job, Charlie Brown.
  16. I totally agree weither it is tools for modeling, household stuff, fixing cars don't skimp. It may seem like more money now but in the long run you will save yourself more money. I have had one 3/8" drive Snap-On rachet for 15 years, use it all the time, it needed one rebuild and is still in use today.
  17. I used to build when I was younger, then I stopped at age 18. I found hanging out with friends more fun. In January 2009, I got clean from a bad drug habit, found that I needed something to do to occupy my time and have not stopped since. I find now that it is more relaxing and an escape from everyday suckyness. Also, I am a huge gearhead!!!!!!!!!
  18. Oh god I don't think I that laughed that hard in awhile.
