  1. I've seen them a few ways. One there all GM corpate blue, two all gold, or a mix of both where everything is painted blue but the valve covers and air cleaner ass'y. Whats right, I am not 100% sure but atleast its a starting point.
  2. Or you can use a product called Purple Power. Same thing as Castrol Super Clean but a lot cheaper.
  3. At first I thought it was the pics of the actual car then realized it wasn't. Everything you build has me in awe, and I study it. I hope one day I can build like that. Fantastic
  4. Well I have used a lot of Dupli-Color paint and I have to say it works great. I have always used Plasti-Cote laquer primer, because I can get it cheap at work and it is a great product. That's my three cents.
  5. If you are just looking for nut and bolt head detail The Model Car Garage has a photo etched fret, part number MCG-2279. I hopes this helps.
  6. If you are not familiar with 1:1 cars I would study pics of them online first, then buy a couple of tools and supplies. You are going to need a pin vise and a good set of drill bits #80-61 will do, you should be able to these at your local hobby shop, if not then try Micro-Mark. You will also need some wire I found that 34 AWG wire found at any craft store will replicate 3/16" brake line and 32AWG wire will do 1/4" brake line these two sizes are most common. You will also need to buy some photo etched fittings and clips that you can get from either Detail Master or The Model Car Garage. I hope this helps.
  7. Thanks guys for the quick replies. I will check everybody out and see what I like the best. Thanks again
  8. As the topic says I am in need of both these items. I know The Parts Box(aftermarket resin co.) makes these but it takes about a month to get(Australia to USA). I was wondering if anybody knows of a company here in the states that makes this. Thanks
  9. This is my very first post on this forum so I am saying Hi to everybody and showing off my latest build. It is an AMT kit from 1990 built box-stock, the only thing I did was polish out the paint, thanks for looking. IMG]http://i888.photobucket.com/albums/ac85/g88sauer/Model%20stuff/ModelCars006.jpg
