  1. Right on!! That's awesome.
  2. Thanks for the comments and ideas guys. I think I'm gonna go with the bigger wheels... I kinda like the high roof on this one so a roof chop is pretty much out of the question at this point as the roof has already been sliced down the middle and the area above the front windshield has already been filled and shaped.
  3. Good idea, looking forward to seeing it come together.
  4. Lools like its coming along nicely, your front end work looks really cool.
  5. Thanks for the kind comments guys. I'm tryin to decide whether to use the wheels pictured and keep it ultra low or use some Cadillac Sombrero hubcaps and have it ride slightly higher
  6. Lookin good. I d keep the side trim as it is. I reckon the rear nerf bars would look cool if they flowed down and made the same Vee shape as the exhaust.
  7. Nicely done .
  8. Looks like you're off to a good start. Ill be watching this one for sure
  9. That thing looks tough!!
  10. That's a beauty!! Great job.
  11. Looking good so far. I really liked the way this kit went together when I built mine.
  12. Awesome. Very nice build.
  13. Hello again guys, this is another project I've got on the go. Normally Id never buy a convertible kit but I knew I had a roof from a 49 Ford that recently had a roof swap. I had to slice the roof down the center and add a triangular fillet towards the rear but it was a very close fit. I used some half round evergreen for the belt line and window mouldings. Other than the 49 Ford taillights siiting vertical an the peaked head lights theres no plans for any other body mods. Anyways, here's where I'm at so far. As always any comments or suggestions are welcome.
  14. Thanks for your comment Jason. The wheels were from a cheap Welly brand 57 Vette I bought from Kmart. I painted the whitewalls and gave the hubcaps a blackwash with some thinners because the chrome was so bright there was no definition in them.
  15. That's some great work on the rear suspension. Awesome work so far.
