Thanks guys, I'm flying to Australia tonight so wont be around for the next week and a bit (Winternationals baby). so will be scouting around some hobby shops while I'm over there for bits and pieces. Wayne, yeah people are a big issue but so far I have around 20 more than whats displayed already. The good thing is they can be added in at any stage and I'll pin them all through their feet so can be used in other dios as needed. This isn't a permanent setup just a photo base that takes a bout 15 minutes to set up (so far). Thanks again for looking in and any comments advice etc is appreciated.
  2. looks really good for one of them long pointy things . Nice phantom Joe
  3. Good to see you're back Joe, missed your humor almost as much as your builds. Looks great by the way and yes I am enjoying it. Ttyl, Brett
  4. did this one around 2 years ago, would have like better grass but altogether I'm reasonably happy with this one as well

  8. Dude give it a bit of time its not the easiest kit to build (old had it molds, lots of flash etc).Heres mine form a couple of years ago, just box stock but have another to go a little differently with one day
  9. Thanks guys, I really appreciate the nice comments, Hd a really cold snap here the last few days so the arthritis is playing up pretty bad so no bench time at all
  10. Thanks guys, I really appreciate the kind comments.
  11. Awesome work throughout the whole project Joe ! the headers and outlets look great, Are you going to put the upturned ends on them ? If you did them with a small internal sleeve you wouldn't have to glue them so they could be removable still.
  12. Explains my builds the roflmao. Wow Chris, you've surpassed yourself again and left the majority of us behind in the burnout box, great work bud, great great work.
  13. congrats Charlie, great stuff!!
  14. Great looking build so far Shane. You know you got me wanting to build mine now, but I .. must resist starting another, Got 3 funny cars on the bench actively now 55 chevy, 06 camaro and a 57 T Bird.
  15. Very nice little detail Chris. Its that sort of work that you've put throughout this whole build that will make it stand way above the rest for a very long time
  16. Thanks guys , got the glass made, interior tin modified and fitted, tail lights done, now to start on its own chassis. It will be pretty much identical to this one that I've been using for mock up purposes
  17. Thanks , finally made my decals up for this one
  18. thanks guys, just need to do a bit of work on the rear spoiler fit and the bodys all but done on this one. Have made the interior tin up, just needs to be painted and fitted. Not to happy with the front windscreen fit but it'll do
  19. Cant wait to see it all together Bill , cause it looks amazing as parts
  20. Thanks Richard, also did the white paint and decals on this one too, once its been cleared I'll do the front bumper and grille got a couple more little things to do, just working on the best way to do them
  21. Thanks guys, did the white and some decaling today, had issues with the Slixx set falling apart on me but got them pieced together. Didnt really intend on using any but thought the colors suited it quite well.
  22. Thanks again Richard, I really appreciate it. Took a couple of goes to get it this far, as the blue ghosted several of the joins back up . So a sand ,some future and a recoat seems to have taken care of that so far. the blue is a candy over silver, had to decant it and spray through the airbrush as it pulled away from all edges and line etc then ran as it was so thin out of the can with the volume cans spray at
  23. thanks guys, spayed the stripes yesterday and redid the orange slightly darker today, will wet sand the edges and then clear tomorrow
