  1. Real nice job Bill ! good to see some cars getting finished
  2. thanks mate I built this one myself, all the glass is inset from the back so its flush on the inside and almost completely dust proof. All scrap timber and some of the glass was free (all glass is 4mm thick). heres the other cabinets, sorry for crappy pics tho

thanks guys, I'll have to get a pic of the other side of the mustang as there's a guy lying down under there having being the one undoing eveything. Jim, a guy in our club is a glazier so we just give him the measurements and he makes it up. He was actually the one who asked me do build this for a public display that our club does annually. Thanks Charlie, it came from the amt 62 impala as I top sportsmaned that body (under heavy chevies I think). Yea though it took a while to separate and tidy up, a dremel makes it a relatively easy job of it.

decided to merge both my small dios and add a bit more to them
  14. thanks guys, Chris, yea they're glass hex shaped, still a little bigger than I would like, I think mine were around 3/4 bucks for a 150 odd though they wont last that long the way they fly out of the tweezers into the next vortex/black hole
  15. guys check this out
  16. Pete, replies can be a little slow coming around here so dont worry about it to much. To be picky, your cage bars look a little big and to all be the same size, you also need a few more bars. BUT before you or anyone else comes down on me............ for a first timer I think your cage looks pretty good and fits the interior of the car beautifully. Check out PROSTREET'S, Doomcrew's or Tyrone's builds (or mine if you're desperate lol) and you'll get a better idea on what bars to put where, these guys also usually tell you what size bars they are using too, though but 1.6mm styrene rod is the most common with 1.2mm for smaller bars. hope this helps a bit dont stress it, just enjoy yourself. Looking forward to seeing more from you Brett
  17. thanks guys, I appreciate your nice comments, Figured if I have the coolant and fuel lines then I should also have the oil lines...................... but...................... theres no pump ...... so............... the holes you see were also filled in with 1/2 mm hex rod which were then all filed down to about 1/2mm height ,then the other lines added, filters drilled then installed positive battery cable installed and wired to the starter motor complete (though you cant see it) with little tab and bolt head detail. rear end done
  18. body looks really good Kerry !
  19. awesome body work again Jeff, cars looking real good
  20. Thanks mate, busy as hell lately with mum, nearly lost her last Thurs, been in hospital since but could be coming home again tomorrow. But now back to your regular sponsored program, with things that'll make you go blind ............
  21. Scott, 1st off stellar work brother in all aspects of it. 2ndly, you're over thinking and making life difficult for yourself ! I understand (I think) where you are coming from BUT you cant second guess how everyone/anyone else may want to build your kit. Yes offer various sub assembly's etc but offer it as a "intended with use with" your engine. Anyone liable to build a multimedia kit such as yours will understand and should be prepared for the work involved if they want to "mix it up" a bit such as you do when using for example a flashpoint resins drag body. I'd just hate to see you bogged down and/or lose momentum, worrying about stuff you dont have to worry about. Besides, if you have the parts cast, finish one for yourself as intended (that'll get interest up again), then worry about making the x motor version or the y motor. Hope this helps a bit otherwise ignore and carry on , either way a lot of us will be watching. Brett
