    green go camaro

thanks guys, much appreciated Eric, I used Tamiya candy lime green over silver but yes I think synergy green is the official Camaro color. Rob, I really like this kit. This is the second one I've built from Revell * and would like to get several more just for different color schemes, not often that Id do that * Also built the Jada and have a couple AMT"s for making race cars out of
  3. beautiful color on yet another outstanding build of yours

great looking impala, really like the color you chose
  5. you always do such clean tidy builds Carl ! a real pleasure to look at, thumbs up dude
  6. calling it done. Ride height lowered about 2mm all round, still not enough but all it will go whilst using stock parts. I do have a tiny piece to tidy up I see on the inner guard
  7. thanks guys
  8. got the cage finished along with the master cylinders today, also worked on the parachutes and tin work
  9. Kerry, from Slixx. Thanks guys, appreciate it Roger I dont have any updated pics of the other cabinets since I moved the funny cars into this one, next time I go home I'll try and remember to take the camera and snap some. But there's one just for sixties drag cars (gassers feds wheelstanders etc) one for top sportsman/pro mods and two other cabinets for muscle, st machines, hot rods etc
  10. Dave, not to rub it in but it's been a hot (for here) dry one too Bill, no its the Revell body, A fellow club member just finished his as I started mine and I thought the rear wheel arch cutouts looked to big so I only went about halfway on mine. Thanks Tyrone, means a lot buddy. I've been working on the steering box linkage assembly's so not much to show, hope to get the master cylinders drilled and the cage mounted today so hopefully a few pics later of all that.
  11. great job Bruno
  12. thanks guys, really appreciate the nice words, Alix, its bare metal foil cheers Brett
  13. thanks guys, started the detailing, rear brakes, then plumbing / wiring the engine paint is 3 coats of Duplicolor Metal specks one coat of a dark blue nail polish then 2 wet coats of the Duplicolor again. Wet sanded with 2000 grit wet and dry then a nice wet coat of Duplicolor clear. Decals were then applied two days later a mist then a wet coat of Tamiya clear. I only used the nail polish as it wasnt quite dark enough imo with the Duplicolor alone. Chris, its definitely a great kit for that, if you leave well enough alone , getting something on the shelf that looks good is great motivation
  14. sshhhhhhhhhhhh Brad, man now everyones gonna know

thanks guys, Steve the paint was custom mixed by me
  16. Steve, I've detailed (mainly just the motors ) on a few of my funny car builds, ( I think I do a reasonable job as all my detail is homemade ie no aftermarket stuff ) but when 99.99 percent of the time they sit in my lounge with the body down............ it doesnt always seem worth the effort, though sometimes I will ..............just for fun
  17. thanks guys, appreciate it
  18. Thanks guys, Wayne , yes they are the kit decals, best I've used for a long time

pretty much box stock but with wheel/tires from the new camaro ?(i think).
  22. with the new movie hype about , how could I resist breaking out my Snake and Goose combo, both box stock took about a week to do both alongside a couple other builds
  23. going to be building this one at a model display our club is putting on this weekend and since there are virtually no issues regarding this kit, I've painted and decaled it already
