  1. also on the table
  2. been a while but I have been building, just very limited net access. Corey,I have a spare demon and the Pure hell decals as well, need to find a close purple though.
  3. very cool and different
  4. try a free pic hosting site like photobucket or fotki Zach, I prefer photobucket myself as fotki only allows free users tiny pics.
  5. 1st off thanks guys, 2ndly questions, questions, questions , Held up a pro sportsman chassis and measured how much needed to be removed at the rear to fit the floor. Guessed/ eyeballed how much need to come out of the frontal width to set the tyres in an acceptable place (remember at this stage the wheelbase of the chassis is too short for the body of this car). The hardest part is getting the lines straight from the back of the car to the front while going over the roof as the masking tape likes to grab where ever it touches. so again eyeballing to my rescue lol. I'm actually not particularly happy with the paint or at least the flame striping but thanks again. The scoop came from a resin 63 vette from ebay that will be supercharged, one day. I'm amassing quite a collection of resin doorslammer bodies that I'll get stuck into soon, check out my SWC pro extreme if you want to see more but its a few pages back now
  6. Awesome Bernard, love it
  7. Box stock, just a quick couple day build to distract my self from life a bit. Duplicolor touch up can orange with ppg fine flake over it.
  8. Yeah I know Richard Dont know how I over looked that so They've been striped off and its painted white and will be ordering some more decals in the next few days,
  9. First off thanks guys, and to answer your question Dave, no. Dont know how much longer mums going to be around so have her as my first priority so apart from a quick box stock Revell merc and a little work on the funnycar decals I havent seen much bench time at all. Been buying though (see what did you get thread)
  10. one each of the Revell deuce series all sealed sealed opened but sealed inside
  11. Got these from a deceased friends' son. Paid them off over a couple of months open but sealed inside sealed tin sealed sealed sealed sealed
  12. very cool looking Corey in a mean nasty sob way, might have to build me a black on black one now
  13. Thanks all got a bit done on both yesterday got the decaling started, what fun NOT. They are designed for the comp resins body not a hodgy Revell one but it looks ok so far I think
  14. the demon a little bleed thru on this side and a major white repair on the other as the paint peeled off from the primer but at least in an easy enough spot to fix. Will work more on this one while the paint hardens on the vega
  15. thanks guys, gave it a quick wetsand to get rid of the slight orange peel and a re coat. Here it is four hrs later without being touched. No clear yet chassis is done just have to install inner body braces, just gonna give the paint a bit of time to harden
  16. kinda box stock for the most part well at least no detailing, sad I know. First up I have the Schmacher woder wagon, started off with the JJ vega reissue, this one had a lot more flash than the last one , but I sure am glad to see these available again. So I had to add/make the louvers for the rear window so made a masking tape template from another kit, a hood bulge which I made from a plastic teaspoon ( a little big) but not too bad I think, and removed the front bumpers. Also using 1320 Waynes tutorial I've lowered the ride height a bit. next up with not much to see yet is the RRRRRRevellution Demon, spent a bit of time yesterday afternoon trying to mix up a paint close to the decal blue
  17. Thanks guys, Finally got the chassis painted, went orange as I didn't like it white so much. Don't you love how mockups everything seems to fit ok but as soon as you go to glue it together nothing fits anymore
  18. Great job Niko !!
  19. Awesome dude !!
  20. i dont think its possible to say anything that hasnt being said John. Congratulations on yet another stellar build, that I'm sure will inspire countless others to push themselves a little harder, I know I will. And thanks for sharing not only the beautiful build but many of the steps you took to get there. Brett
