I've pretty much always had one plan when I go. Let the wife have everything. (and see fit to devide as she wants ) However her health is getting very bad and I worry it will be the other way around and it really made me rethink my life. I think If she outlasts me I would let her keep her favorite built ups and then give a couple of my friends that are in the hobby pick out their favorite built ups, projects and un started. The majority of it, like a lot of rebuilders, projects and a few un started that they do not take, It would go to my model club to be used in our annual auction to raise money for the club. That way I know they do not end up in the trash.

Sorry I somehow missed that he asked about the green one and only saw that he asked about the one next to it on the right. Your right about the Monte Carlo. It's actually a Nascar body. I was looking into it closely after my post and it's molded in yellow. I believe it was originally the Monte from the Dale Earnhardt Monte/Pontiac 2 pack. The car is a heavily modified body with mainly Nascar chassis and Drag tires. Here is a couple more pics. Who ever did the conversion was creative. I hope to smooth it out (Needed more sanding before paint) and add detail.

I think your talking about this one? If so it's a 1970 (re-tooled 1969) Dodge Charger. The kit is from the movie The Fast and the Furious. It's made by AMT.

Here is an update. I decided to go with burgandy for the interior. Parts box wheels, I also went with blue for the engine as my 76 had a blue motor. I have a lot of detail to do so it is not done. Enjoy.

I agree here totally! I like what I can see but I can barely see it

Killer bike! Great job on the look and the tribal graphics go so well with the wheels. I love it!

Amazing as usual my friend! This car looks awesome. I want to try the rust again on a truck soon. What did I do wrong on my Sub-Urban? I did the brown paint for rust, then salt, then the greenish paint. I figured I could knock off the salt and get the brown showing through. Problem was the salt wouldn't come off. Any suggestions? Great looking Impala Doc!

I'm making a close to stock maybe semi custom out of the 4 door Dukes of Hazzard MPC/Round 2 kit. Paint is Duplicolor Chrysler Charcoal Grey Metallic. I will be using different tires and wheels as this came with wide tires and deep wheels all the way around. More soon!

A few more... Whats left of a Stude in down town Phoenix 1st Gen Firebird with the nose in the air. I thought the style was supposed to be nose down and rear up. It was nice though. Nice 3 door I'm trying to buy this one. I have been doing foot work for over a year now. Have you EVER seen a Caddy Wagon that was NOT a Hearse?????

Cant let this thread die off so.... Here are a few more I have found lately...... 1950 Ford custom? Could almost pass as Daisey's Jeep Nice Caddy! Can you spot the one vehicle that is not boring? Not rare but this is the cleanest Dooley of this style I have seen in a long time Mid 70's Grand Prix? Un-molested, lady driver 1st Gen Camaro

Michaels Clearence
Railfreak78 replied to RickRollerLT1's topic in General Automotive Talk (Trucks and Cars)
I was at my local Michaels today and the SR-71 was normal price ( Not bad though) But the F101 here is 1/48 bigger scale and was clearence for $12.00 and rang at $9.99 -
I got this 77 Monaco of Ebay and I found some Johnny Lightning Monaco's and a Fury III squad car at Wal Mart and now I found this F-101 1/48 scale on clearance at Michaels for $10. Good little score for the week I think.

1978 Glidden Fairmont....well trying to!!!!
Railfreak78 replied to Plasticfanatic's topic in WIP: Model Cars
This is amazing work! I am so impressed. I really would like some tips on how you made the grill. I need to make one for a 1976 Buick Skylark and rear to convert a Nova. You have amazing skills and fore thought to create this out of the 2 cars you used. I can't wait to see more! -
I'll certainly be watching!

I see your kinda new here and nobody has really said anything yet. Welcome to the Under Glass section. I'd like to say ( in no disregard ) that your off to a good start in model building. Hang around here and see what people do in the work bench section and you will learn a lot of simple things that will go a long way to make models look really good. A couple things I'd point out here is some small stuff like a black wash on the grill would look nice, and when a hood will not sit right, you can sand it down a touch so it fits. I hope to see more as you build over time

I thought I commented on this, Whoops Man I love this one! I want to drive it! Great job and congrats!

Neat little car and something you do not see every day. Reminds me of a Datsun 280Z with Studabaker sides.... Anyway it's a cool car and nice job on it.

This inspires me to do a low rider. I have a 61 Chevy that would work well. Nice work on yours and congrats on the second place.

Very nice work my friend. Who'd have thunk a pony car could have that many ponies under the hood!
