Da AAMAZZZING SSSTEEELERSSS
Railfreak78 replied to simonr's topic in General Automotive Talk (Trucks and Cars)
I Really could not stand Brett for a long time, even as a Packer fan. I told my friends Aaron would be good and I was laughed at. He did better than what I thought for sure and I will promise that, This years Super Bowl was no fluke. I'm not saying they will take it again next year or the one after that, I'm not that kind of concided fan. I just think he is the real deal -

Eh Favre I am not really bothered by, I guess Rodgers came out Rogers since I'm so used to it being my boss' last name -

I personally like several teams. my favotite 4 made me pretty happy this year as 3 made it to the playoffs at least to wild card games. Green Bay I was raised on. I did not like what Farve did to the team so this was great for Rogers to make it happen. My Seahawks looked bad but made it barely, Kansas City went from the next to last, Last year to the playoffs, and my Cardinals need to get the QB issue fixed and NOW -
How to clean up mold In a 1:1
Railfreak78 replied to Railfreak78's topic in General Automotive Talk (Trucks and Cars)
Thanks for the comments eveyone. The car is pretty dry. Just something spilled on the passenger side of the car, It's here in Phoenix and has only been sitting for about a month and a half. The girl I bought it off of mostly rides a motorcycle. Anyway I remember fighting bad mold up in Washington state and this is no where that bad thank goodness. I'll check to see if it has a cabin filter I would have forgot about that. Thanks again! -
Hwy everyone. I just got this 1999 Dodge Neon from a friend dirt cheap. One problem is the car has been sitting and something spilled on the passenger rear floor and caused mold to form. Is there any product you can recommend that will not bleach the color of the carpet and kill the mold? I have a good wet/dry vac but I want to kill this and fast. Any Ideas would be helpful thanks.

Funny enough, I have to remove my "drink" from the pics

I don't use it on all the builds. Most of my 2010 builds were painted with Krylon or Duplicolor. Fellow MCM member Mudpit602 rents a room from me and his bench is in the loft with mine. This is a Co-op setup so all of our paint is free use. He has bought a lot and myself and like it for the most part. I do use spray for a lot of little stuff too. I have never had an issue with Krylon with the exception of a couple having bad orange peel but thats the weather more than anything.

Your all time top favorite model?
Railfreak78 replied to ra7c7er's topic in General Automotive Talk (Trucks and Cars)
Mine is the MPC 75 Plymouth Roadrunner and sister cars like the Monaco/Coronet/etc -
It's been a while since I posted on this thread. I re-worked my model area and am still not done. I actually can't stand if things are out of place. My main car at the moment is "Christine" Here you see her with the drivers side on a jack to do BMF. Somehow I got in a mood of Chevy trucks so she has a lot of company tonight.

I love the team that runs that #57. I like the #69-70 Mazda teams and I am a HUGE Andy Lally fan! -
I got a lot over this weekend. I picked up this 1999 Dodge Neon. Needs a couple tires now and an O2 sensor, wheel bearing. PIcked up this lot of kits too. The Mustang and Matador are fresh kits. The rest are rebuilders. The boxed Camaro is the one with white drag tires and no t-tops. I do have plans for all of these too. So in all including the Neon I spent $350.00 this weekend

Looking for a 78-79 Ford Fairmont
Railfreak78 replied to chris coller's topic in General Automotive Talk (Trucks and Cars)
It would be cool to make a Durango out of this too. Most people forget that Ford had that name before the Dodge SUV. -
I was wondering where this one was. That looks awesome! Burly looking Power Wagon style Ram. Love the homemade stuff including the truck box. I made my first one this year and yours is so much better. Great build!

Thats an amazing build and a fantastic car combo. The body style lends itself nicely for the vette conversion. Great looking build!

TV/Movie Vehicle Community Build.......Contest

Interior is done on Christine now. -
Well the interior is done now. I'm going to leave the seats the way they are as they look really good to me. Interior chrome is foiled including window cranks. I black washed the vents and speakers. I think this is one of my best interiors I've done. I normally like them until the camera tattles on my mistakes

Barrett-Jackson

AS far as the registration goes, I was watching the news yesterday morning and the covered it. Yes there is a small fee to bid. The minimum is that you need to prove through your bank, that your good for a min of $9,000 or you can bid at all. A lot of cars go early in the auction for as little as $5,000 so I wonder if 5 grand cash will get you in?. I like the show. The grounds are really cool but then again I'm partial as the Good Guys Rod and Custom show is there 2 times a year and thats where my club has a huge model car show -

Hey Donald, I'd like to say on my end I slopped into a lot of it. I feel very lucky. The unlucky side of the hobby is I had a 300+ built collection destroyed which makes an instant junkyard for parts The lucky side is that I get very lucky with thrift stores/swap meets/club meetings on cheap kits. Even if there is things started, the parts are worth $5. $5 to $10 is what I normally pay for kits. I really did not plan on having this much so soon. I'd buy a cetain kit for a certain club meeting and then find something else I like better Another junker buy was 83 cars for $10. Instant junkyard/parts depot
