  1. It sounds cool but right now I think I have to much on my plate. I'm already stepping out of my comfort zone by working on a 20's car. me and the 20's- 30's cars don't get along I like the thought of it though.
  2. Sweet Grand Prix Greg! Oh and yeah I'd hate to see a DOT drivers face if they saw a trucker taking pics lol
  3. I want one of the blue Fords too but cool Thunderbird!!!!
  4. I think it was really cool to see you step out of the box and create this! Great job!
  5. Great job and a car we don't see very often is a big plus!
  6. I completely agree with Pete. I am part of a local club and we have our own meetings and voting but it nothing like my first big contest. I realised a childhood dream this year entering a big show and met a lot of people from this very forum. The classes are open to all levels of building BUT I certainly used it as a learning experience as to what others do. My real advice is do not go into it thinking, hoping, or planning to win! Go there to interact with people and learn. I think the best part of it was just visiting everybody. It is a cool feeling when someone really looks at your build though My next big show: I will do just what I did this time. Take things from the best I built to stuff I think othes might just like to look at. Oh one last thing..... If you don't know already you do have to pay to enter your cars! A lot of people do not know that. It goes to help fund the event. Have fun!
  7. Very nice! One you don't see very often. I like the grill openings a lot too.
  8. Looks great so far! My first encounter with one of these was when I was 17. I was driving my 1977 Lincoln Towncar and made a fast left turn through a light. It was dark and I stomped on that 460 and noticed a dot. By the time I realised it was a car I had to swerve into another lane really fast to not run it over! I'll always think this is a cool classic as the new ones are BMW I think and Smart does not have the classic look. Very nice work on this one.
  9. I actually forgot about this post Thank you ALL for the great advice!
  10. Beautiful! Love the color combo and your tire/wheel package. Any engine or chassis shots? Fantastic looking car!
  11. Very nice my friend! Beautiful green. What color is it? I have a project coming up with that color likeness in mind. I like the over all look of this one.
  12. Nice way to give it a modern custom look. Very nice build.
  13. Here are a few more from over the past few weeks. Up first is a truck used to raise money for breast cancer research in the form of a raffle. They raffle it off per race. The winner gets to go race the truck in a mud race. Then it's auctioned off again. I think it's a cool idea. Here is a couple of Nova coupes. I love these cars and the sister cars. Here is a Land Rover And to finish off a group of Chevy trucks.
  14. Some details done now and windows are in. I messed up the back one so I guess I'll have to make a company name thing to go on it and cover the glue that was smudged. Interior and the body are now sealed to the frame. Grill detail and bumper paint are done. I still need to do the top of the rear bumper. Now I am going to scratch build a truck tool box. Here you can see the start of the moch up. I think I'll have the truck itself done by this weekend then time to work on the trade details.
  15. I scored a resin fuel cell for my Demo Derby car from Mudpit602 (This is made by one of out club members. I bought a center console from him before and it's good product) I also scored this Tamiya Tank not started for Free! Woo Hoo!
  16. I'd agree about detailing the wheels and the running lights on the side. The car does look great and wow what a shine!
  17. I saw you had Magnum P.I. Ferrari but there is actually a VW Vanogon too
  18. Coot topic that I hope some shed some light on. I am building KITT from Knight Rider and want to actually have the red light on the nose work so any advice is welcome.
  19. Nice work on the scratch body kit. This will shape up to be a nice Rally Art
  20. As a rail fan I say thanks for sharing that one!!!
  21. Now your talking my language with these old Dodge.Plymouths
  22. Killer bike and I love ammo boxes. I used to keep one under the hood of my old truck for tools and such.
  23. Title says it all. I am not sure of the size and such but I can find out. This is currently in an International. I figured this would help out for the upcoming big truck community build. This is my dads truck so any other pic request are ok I can probrably get more pics before the build start day.
