  1. Awesome bike! I like the bright colors clashing and at the same time working together.
  2. I have to admit that being in a big city like Phoenix I got tired of seeing the 1:1 trucks like this but I have never seen anyone do it in scale. Certainly not as good as this! Great build inside and out! I love the inside and the over all paint. I wish guys out here would do this instead of a regular cab with an Escalade clip and no custom paint. Awesome truck!
  3. Great looking ride! Looks straight out of Tokyo Drift! Nice scratch work and paint. Engine looks great too!
  4. I love this wagon! Beautiful!
  5. Hey Greg you have had some really nice hauls lately Where did you get the wide white walls from? Those are really great looking tires.
  6. Hey Buddy! Actually I think I'm going to redo the interior. This one is from the first truck and it was suppose to be tan to match but in my experience.. Most trucks I have driven have had a full rubber floor mad with texture like the bed liner. I think I might use the liner to do that.
  7. Here is a little update. I haven't had a lot of time at the bench lately. Here is the spray in bed liner on the new truck. The bed is not painted yet. I have the most of the engine done and some of the chassis. Tires and wheels are not set yet. I need to wet sand the primer before paint since it seems that some dust or pollen got in it. hopefully next update will have more but thought you guys would like the bed liner.
  8. Here is a couple overall pics from Desert Scale Classic. This event had a lot of builders from this very site there. It shows a lot of ways people display. John T. and a few others had mirrors and a lot of people like myself just had them on the entry slip. I have a few in there including my 70 Superbee. In the last picture shows a display with lifts and mirrors I ended up using at my club meeting but thought it was to much so I never used it again even though I like to show the underneath. Do you guys that compete think a little set up like that is ok?
  9. Having been involved with the club, I can tell you.... when there is a trophy involved, some builders would, if it was possible to win a trophy, they would... glue each individual part of that kit to their face... fastest fool wins! And I guarantee you there would be a good turnout for this! Now that I think of it.... ^^^ ^^^ Now the parts glueing to faces I'd pay to see
  10. Thanks Jon! I have a pretty good chance of scoring those kits now that I think about it.
  11. I think glue bombs are made for restoration. I went through 96 cars to decide which one was going to be my Demo Derby car. Every car I looked at that most would toss in the garbage or smash with a hammer, I figured out an outline idea for a project. I guess its just me
  12. Wow. I think if my club did this I'd quit the club. I'm glad you all enjoy it and it's not meant to dis you guys but that is certainly not my cup of tea.
  13. This is one of my favotite movies. I did not realise there was a kit for this. I'll have to find one now I'm watching
  14. Looks fantastic so far my friend! Where did you get the small details like the beer cans and smokes? I like the Cherry Bombs too I need to try that some day.
  15. This Saturday I have a mixture of a couple projects going on. I have my Demo Derby C.B. car torn apart after being in the purple pond. You can see my Pool truck and today I got the majority of the engine for it done. I didn't get much done as I was watching Sons of Anarchy at the bench and now the Nascar race is on.
  16. I have this kit and been wondering what to do with it. Yours came out really good looking! I am thinking of changing mine to fit a full size Chevy truck. Nice Elk!
  17. Looks cool and the group picture is really neat. I have a question though. On the Caprice and one more car you have a pole or something sticking out the side window that is not exhaust. Whats that for?
  18. The only problem I have had is the beginning load time. I have to skip stats and go strait to my albulms or it will take forever.
  19. Well after this project has sat for quite a long time now I decided it's time to get back at it. Only one problem. Wrong kit! The chassis from the street truck will not work at all and a friend found me this stock version. I think I am going to just start over as I made a few mistakes on the body of the first truck. I am not happy with the interior and finishing up the blood on my Sub-Urban truck I got some red dots on this truck. Plus the street truck had the wrong hood, tailgate, and rear panels for the build I needed. I was happy with the real spray in bed liner so I hope to get it right again. Here is some pics of the differences and I will have more soon. Enjoy
  20. Nice score again David G! Once again I'm eyeballin a couple cars
  21. When I first saw this was a video from Marty and saw Jiffy Crew, I figured it was going to be a clip of a car falling in the oil pit at JiffyLube
  22. Your issue with the MB is not going to go away unless you make a photobucket or Fotki account. When you join Model Cars Magazine you get a certain amount of space to share your builds. In the Tips, Tricks and Tutorial section there is a pinnned topic at the top of the page posted by a member named Clay. He shows step by step how to create a photobucket account. Photobucket will let you post a lot more pictures. There is a limit there to on a free account. I pay for my account but it gives me unlimited everything for 2 years. I can have as many topics and pictures as I want. You will need at least a free account or you will have to go back and delete pictures from your older posts to be able to make new ones if you do not do this. Good luck
  23. Looks great Johnny! I have both of those in my stash and I really want to do the DW car. What color did you use for the Dayglow? Anyway both cars look really good buddy!
  24. Awesome idea from an awesome movie! I am watching with full attention!
  25. Very realistic looking workhorse. Great work. It really looks passable as a 1:1
