I got a nice vintage score today. A local place I browse gets models sometimes so I picked these up with two hard to find Hot Wheels for $30. The Carrera is copyright 1976 and the Ford is copyright 75. The Carrera has a started interior tub but everything else is good for $8 and the only damage to the truck is a lightly bent chrome tree not affecting the parts and it was $16. The truck parts are still in the bags. I think I did good and I'm hoping a few more kits are still there next week since I didn't have a lot to play with this week.
I think it would be cool to see a van release too but I'm pleased with the 2010 line up. I can't wait to get the new 2010 Mustang to do a replica build for a friend of mine. I like the race car trailer and I am stocking up on the Bronco coming back. The over all line up looks pretty good.
Nooks really nice David. I like the paint and stance. I really like the shackels. Welcome to the world of BMF. My Ecto is only my 2nd car done with it and it does get easier. I guess we just pick out big cars that need a lot of it . I'm watching and it looks great!
Hey Highway, How did you get such good screen shots? I want to try to get some pics from my PlayStation games so I can make a couple cars. I like the RX-7's too I used to own a 1:1 that style.
Brian the best thing to do with no hassle is go to the Tips, Tricks section and at the top is a pinned thread from Clay about Photobucket. It completely changed my posts. No fighting with picture size or the amount of mb you have left on this site with out Photobucket. A lot ok guys use Fotki as well but I don't know anything about it.
First off nice S-2000! The overall build is awesome and the chassis matches. I like the heat tint on the exhaust.
(2nd) B-Rad I have had great luck on clear lenses with Formula 5000 Canopy glue. Scared me at first but dries clear.
I've been following this build and sorry it took a bit to see it under glass I don't get to this section often for some reason. I like the way it came out and nice way to make the patch panels and such like you would see on a local car. If it's dirt track car I would agree to make it a bit more dirty. Other than that I do like the grime. Maybe add a windshield mesh screen like I would see at a local dirt track. This build made me want to do my Chevelle wagon that I need to finish so I really like it
All the "parts" cars (Dodge Monoco/Coronet 2 doors) for my MPC 75 Road Runner have the Fundimentions logos. I may be wrong but I think the Force 440 kit is one of these. Anyway Cool corolla in the game and to bad the game went down. I'm going to make a couple kits of cars I've made on Playstation games. You can get the Corolla kit and make yours and make something else out of the Supra.
Man this is prime to have someone good at photoshop put that on the cover of Truckin' magazine. Great work and I love the fiberglass style details inside and the paint. Looks great so far.
That looks spot on for a tarp that does see some wind to mess up the edges a bit. My wifes convertible needs a new top and we tarp it when it rains and it looks like you took it off the car. Great job!
Hi everyone, I decided this one was sitting to long. I have been so wrapped up in my Ecto lately that this was collecting dust. I think it's time I debut the "idea' I had for the first time. I wanted to try this with a beater before I do it on one of my other van kits. Today I opened the sliding door and began to mock up some ideas on how to make it work. I have a different plan in my head than what this looks like but here is the start. More to come and Enjoy!
