  1. Wow that is a beautiful custom chopper! I am really diggin this and your hard work shows off very well. Thanks for showing some 2 wheel therapy
  2. It was really hard for me to not turn this into a Hearse since I love those cars. I'll have to get another one someday. Thanks for the comment
  3. Thanks David. I used a thin Jewelery wire I picked up at Hobby Lobby. I normally would have used guitar string but this worked out ok here with the curve. The boot is telephone wire insulation.
  4. Cool link and that SSR trailer is something else.
  5. Now that looked fun
  6. These cars are wicked and beautiful. Nice job on this one!
  7. This is exactly why one mans garbage is another mans treasure. I get flack for restoring kits that would normally find the dumpster and you just showed everyone how to make it over and make it shine! Nice job!
  8. Jim the tires are pain stakingly done with a tooth pic. Dave thanks for the advice. Here are some interior pics since it's curbside and you can't really see it in the final project. I didn't do a lot and I'm missing the computer screen But I did do some of it... She is under glass guys! Thanks to everyone for their comments along the way!
  9. A few more pics... A special thanks goes out to Artisticndn and Danno for detail pictures for this build and to Zukaholic for without him I would have never had the kit. Thanks guys!
  10. Well guys and gals this has been a fun project. I'm calling this one done now. There are a couple of things a bit different on here than the real one that I will go ahead and point out. The 2 small bottles on the driver side of the roof rack are suppose to be yellow and I did it white after seeing a weathered 1:1 picture of the real car now. I did not feel like re-painting it Also, the diamond plate rear bumper is supposed to be red all the way across but I personally think that looks bad. Anyway, A friend of mine pointed out the out of scale whip antenna so I made a new one. I did do some interior stuff that I will post back on the bench side since this is curbside. Thank you all for following this one and making it a hit. It helped keep my head in the game and I hope you like the end result. Here it is and Enjoy!!
  11. Well here is my lot of 1:1 vehicles. 1st up is my 1986 Toyota Camry. It's my daily driver and I paid $100 for it in WA state. I have put over a hundred thousand miles on it and its about ready to the big 300k here by the next oil change. I even use this to play in the mud Next up is my wifes 1991 Dodge Shadow convertible. We paid $1500 for it and is family owned since the showroom floor. Has less than 100k on the odometer. Here is my ex-daily now project 1981 Ford Bronco. I have to fix some front end issues with and plan on rebuilding the engine while I'm in this far. And finally my 1980 Yamaha XJ650 project bike. I got this for free and have had it running but needs carb work and a new starter. Has some slight electrical issues to sort out to but will hopefully be my first bike on the street.
  12. Amazing as always!
  13. I almost bought an old tiny little Datsun like this. It was not a unibody but same style. Very cool project since you do not see these much.
  14. I used to own a 1:1 1986 Camaro and I miss that car so much! I'm watching!
  15. B they would have to force me to stop drooling on that Skyline
  16. On a serious note... What makes these cars do this? It's always a problem with the exotics and I never knew why?
  17. Very cool! Thanks for posting this one.
  18. I have mixed feelings on this. I love certain Ferrari and Lambo models and hate to see it. On the flip side, If you have the money to own one it's really not a big loss since you have the money for insurance.... full coverage.... right? So.. Bingo... New car?
  19. Wow, now that you have posted a pic of the rear of that bike, you can really grasp the crazy angles that you have to capture. Your off to a great start and that rear end picture will surely make everyone realise the true extent of this build.
  20. I am very guilty of taking pics while driving I have a bunch you can find in the 1:1 refrence section mixed with car show pics. Gotta love a cool car while your out and about.
  21. Nice look on the chop and the color too! I think I'd stick a few more details in before I called it quits with what you have achieved. This has shaped up nice and I know your fear of chopping as I have never tried one.... yet..
  22. Beautiful truck Agent. These suttle war vehicles are in a group of their own. I like the color and overall detail. Just needs and old Harley next to it . Good stuff my friend
  23. Oh for crying out loud ( This is not a response to the thread starter )
